This year’s Pantone color the the year is one of our favorites, “Classic Blue“. It’s applicable in so many ways, especially in weddings when one of the traditions is to incorporate “something blue”. Weather you use it in a subtle or dramatic way, we’re providing options to spark some inspiration! Including designers and direct links to purchase.
Bridesmaid Dresses
What color are your ladies going to wear standing next to you? If you want a bold jewel tone color, Classic Blue is more of a common color to look for so hopefully your search does not take too long. Some of these dresses could be worn by the mother of the bride/groom as well.

You literally can’t go through the wedding day without shoes, but it’s one item not everyone gets to see. So if you want to incorporate some blue into your day but it does not go with the rest of your wedding colors, blue shoes are a fun way to go!

What is your other half going to wear on your big day? What are your groomsmen going to wear? Ties are a fun place to put in a pattern, at least for the groomsmen’s’ ties so we’ve provided a few options below. If the mother of the bride/groom is wearing blue, the father of the bride/groom can wear one of these as well to match.

Earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets, and all other jewelry can have notes of Classic Blue if you want to wear the 2020 Pantone Color. If you’re wearing blue earrings or a hair accessory, we recommend it being subtle so it does not take away from the beauty of your face!

If your actual wedding colors incorporate the 2020 Pantone Color of the Year, you should definitely consider having some of your rentals be Classic Blue. There are not too many real blue flowers so a lot of times our couples use rentals to showcase this beautiful color. This can also include vases and votive candles that you would get through your florist/decor team.
