Hi family and friends! How excited are you for Amanda & Brian’s big weekend?!
We want to make sure you’re as prepared as possible so please take a look through this page to learn all you need to know going into the wedding day.

Friday, June 9th

6:15pmRehearsal begins at Morton Arboretum
*meet in the breezeway of the Visitor Center*
7:30pmRehearsal dinner at Emmett’s Brewing Company

Saturday, June 10th

7:20amMakeup (Alex) arrives for set up
Bridesmaids & moms arrive to Amanda’s suite
7:40amMakeup services, with Alex, begin *see schedule below*
8:00amHair (Tiffany) arrives for set up
Breakfast delivered or everyone gets breakfast from DoubleTree
8:30amHair services, with Tiffany, begin *see schedule below*
8:45am Hair (Kelly) arrives for set up
9:00amHair services, with Kelly, begin *see schedule below*
9:15amMakeup (Anna) arrives for set up
9:30amMakeup services, with Anna, begin *see schedule below*
12:00pmGroomsmen arrive at the DoubleTree DG to relax and hang out with Brian
Lunch is available for Brian & the guys + Amanda & the girls
1:30pmALL hair and makeup completed
Amanda & bridesmaids take a photo in their getting ready outfits
1:40pmAmanda, bridesmaids & moms put on their dresses separately
1:45pmBrian and groomsmen have their “getting ready” shots taken
Marcy pins boutonnières on Brian & the guys

Trolley arrives to DoubleTree
1:50pmBrian & guys begin heading downstairs
Cody is in charge of the foam cooler with snacks + water bottles, Whiteclaws, Bud
Light, and ice inside
2:00pmAll guys are on board the trolley

Amanda’s first look with bridesmaids in her suite
2:10pmAmanda’s first look with dad in her suite
2:15pmBrian & guys are dropped off at Morton and begin wedding party photos
Trolley loops around to pick up Amanda & ladies
2:20pmLadies begin heading downstairs, Amanda is the last to head downstairs
Rachel in charge of grabbing Amanda’s personal items and remaining personal florals
2:30pmTrolley arrives at DoubleTree; ladies boards the trolley
2:45pmTrolley drops off ladies at the Visitor Center and stands by until it needs to go pick up guests
2:50pmCouple portraits & wedding party pictures begin on Morton Grounds
→ Meadow Lake, Spruce Plot. Asian Collection
4:00pmImmediate family begins head to Morton Arboretum with their own transportation
4:15pmImmediate family begins arriving to Morton and meets at the Visitor Center for photos
4:30pmFamily pictures begin on Morton grounds at the Visitor Center

Trolley arrives to DoubleTree and sits while guests are boarding
4:45pmTrolley departs for Morton for first service
DoubleTree’s shuttle is available for guests to load in
5:00pmALL photos completed, wedding party gets tucked away in the bridal suite
2 Ushers/Program Passers (Amanda’s cousins) arrive to the ceremony site
Trolley arrives, drops off guests, & loops around to pick up more guests from DoubleTree
DoubleTree’s shuttle departs for Morton
5:10pmTrolley arrives at DoubleTree for guests to load in
5:15pmDoubleTree’s shuttle arrives to Morton
Trolley departs for Morton
5:25pmTrolley arrives at Morton with guests
Ushers hand biodegradable confetti & give instructions to those sitting in the inner aisle seats
5:30pmCeremony begins!
6:00pmAmanda and Brian are married!

Cocktail hour begins at the Visitor Center
Family stays back for group photos
Remaining guests are invited to start heading to the Visitor Center for cocktail hour
7:00pmCocktail hour ends and guests invited into the Gingko Room
7:20pm Introductions begin:
1) parents
2) wedding party
3) Amanda & Brian!
7:30pmWelcome toast by Frank Zubricki
7:35pmToast and blessing by Steve Bergquist
7:40pmBlessing of the Challah by Zach Swimmer
8:30pmAfter all entrees are served, speeches begin:
1) Cody
2) Stephanie
8:50pmAfter speeches, dances begin:
1) Amanda & her dad
2) Brian & his mom

Amanda & Brian give a toast and Horah/guest dancing begins!
11:30pmDoubleTree’s shuttle departs for the hotel
12:00amParty’s over 🙁
Personal items, especially cards, gifts, & family pictures, go with Brian’s parents
DoubleTree’s shuttle departs for the hotel
12:15am Final DoubleTree shuttle service departs Morton
12:30amAfter party begins at DoubleTree’s bar
1:30amLast call at DoubleTree’s bar

HAIR / MAKEUP SCHEDULE

—

HAIR/MAKEUP TIPS:

  1. Please arrive with clean, product-free or limited product in hair.
  2. Hair should be completely dry, unless your service includes a blowout. Anyone with damp hair will be asked to step away and finish blow-drying their hair.
  3. If you have curly hair and you do not wish to wear your natural curl, please wash and blow-dry your hair straight. Do not straighten with a flat iron.
  4. Do not apply SPF moisturizers to your skin. You may still moisturize with a non SPF product.
  5. Brush your teeth and put in your contacts prior to sitting in the makeup chair.
  6. It is helpful if each bridal party member has an inspirational image prepared to show the hairstylist/makeup artist.
  7. Lipstick will not last all day & night. Pack a touchup lipstick or gloss for reapplication.

DON’T FORGET TO BRING…

Ladies

  1. Amanda will be providing getting ready outfits so come in comfy clothes but know you’ll be changing
  2. Wedding day outfit including appropriate bras/Spanx/undergarments
  3. Accessories for wedding day
  4. Shoes for getting ready, shoes for your wedding day outfit (neutral, block heel is recommended as you’ll be walking in grass!), and party shoes
  5. Clutch/purse with personal items/IDs, phone, lipstick, tissues, etc.
  6. Wedding card – if applicable
  7. Stephanie – Speech for the reception (ideally not read off your phone)

Men

  1. Wedding day outfit
  2. Cell phones, wallets and anything else you may keep in your pocket
  3. Arrive in something comfortable to get ready in
  4. Wedding card – if applicable
  5. Cody – Speech for the reception (ideally not read off your phone)
