We want to make sure you’re as prepared as possible so please take a look through this page to learn all you need to know going into the wedding day.

TIMELINE OF EVENTS

WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 16

7:00pm

Rehearsal dinner at Eight Eleven Upton – Dining & Bar

FRIDAY, OCTOBER 18

8:45am	Beauty artist arrives for setup Everyone receiving beauty services arrive at Amany’s suite
9:00am	Hair and makeup services begin ** schedule below ** Breakfast delivered from ______
10:00am	Access to The Barbershop begins
11:00am	Lunch delivered from ______ for for the Amany and party
12:00pm	Ahmad’s family and friends arrive to Ahmad’s room Lunch delivered from ______for the Ahmad and party
2:55pm	Ahmad and party start heading to The Barbershop for “getting ready” photos
3:00pm	Once beauty services are complete, Ahmad’s mom (Ghada) changes and meets Ahmad Photo and video team arrives at Blackstone / Ahmad’s room
3:05pm	Ahmad and groomsmen have their “getting ready” shots taken in The Barbershop – Ahmad’s mom (Ghada) pins boutonnières on Ahmad & brother – Ahmad’s family/brother/best man help Ahmad “get ready” – Ahmad open gift and note from Amany
3:30pm	Ahmad and party head outside for additional portraits
3:55pm	ALL of Ahmad’s photos are complete, photo and video head over to Amany’s suite Ahmad and party hangout in his room or hotel restaurant until ceremony begins
4:00pm	Once photo and video are in the suite, Amany’s getting ready photos begin: – Amany and party put on their dresses in separate spaces – Amany’s mom (Maha) helps Amany get dressed – Amany open gift and note from Ahmad Access to The Barbershop ends
4:15pm	ALL hair and makeup completed Amany’s dad and brother head to the bridal suite for first look with Amany ** waits outside in the hallway
4:20pm	Amany’s first look with friends in the bridal suite
4:30pm	Amany’s first look with dad (Tony) and brother (George) in the bridal suite
4:35pm	Amany takes portraits with family and friends
4:45pm	Ahmad, family, and friends head downstairs and hang out on the ballroom floor MOH and BM (Cynthia and Nabeel) head downstairs and meet OE outside of English Room
4:50pm	OE/Sonya lets MOH and BM (Cynthia and Nabeel) know where to stand for ceremony
5:00pm	Amany touches up her hair and makeup in the bridal suite Wedding party stays in Art Hall until ceremony begins Ohana Events checks that the best man (Nabeel) has the wedding rings
5:30pm	Ceremony begins!
6:00pm	Amany & Ahmad are married!!! Immediately following end of ceremony, pictures begin in at the altar Cocktail hour begins in Art Hall
6:45pm	Amany’s mom (Maha) heads up to the bridal suite to help with dress bustle
7:00pm	Cocktail hour ends and guests are invited into the Crystal Ballroom
7:15pm	Amany and Ahmad are introduced into Crystal Ballroom
7:34pm	While salads are being served, Amany and Ahmad talk to tables (table touches)
8:20pm	After all entrées are served, Amany and her dad dance
8:30pm	Dance floor opens!
11:30pm	Party’s over! 🙁 Amany’s mom (Maha) takes all cards
11:35pm	Everyone attending the after party starts ordering Ubers
12:00am	After party starts at ______ location

HAIR & MAKEUP SCHEDULE:

Beauty Pointers!

– Hair is best styled with clean (washed day/night before; shampoo 2x and apply condition to your ends only), product-free or limited product in hair.
– IF applying serum/oils, avoid applying to the scalp area
– Hair should be completely dry (BLOW DRY, not air dry, and avoid sleeping with damp hair), unless your plan on a blowout. Anyone with damp hair runs risk of being behind, unless your service includes a blowout
– Part your hair where you think you’d most likely want to style it for the wedding day
– Leave hair down to avoid creases or flatness from a hair band
– Do not apply SPF moisturizers to your skin. You may still moisturize with a non SPF product. SPF causes makeup to fall off quicker.
– Wear a button up shirt or a robe so you don’t mess up your makeup or hair when changing into your dress.
– Brush your teeth and put in your contacts prior to beginning your beauty.
– It is helpful if each bridal party member has an inspirational image prepared to guide them.
– Lipstick will not last all day & night. Pack a touch up lipstick or gloss for reapplication.
– Pluck / maintain eyebrows before the wedding day

Ladies!

1. Please arrive in something comfy to get ready in (button downs and/or something easy/loose to slide over your hair are encouraged)
2. Wedding day outfit including appropriate bras/Spanx/undergarments
3. Accessories for wedding day
4. Getting ready shoes & wedding outfit shoes
5. Clutch/purse with personal items/IDs, phone, lipstick, tissues, etc.
6. Wedding card – if applicable

3. Cell phones, wallets and anything else you may keep in your suit coat pocket (do not put these items in your pants pockets – it will ruin pictures!)
