We want to make sure you’re as prepared as possible so please take a look through this page to learn all you need to know going into the wedding day.

TIMELINE OF EVENTS

FRIDAY, JULY 24

1:30pm-1:45pm	Beauty services start for Caroline at Drake Oak Brook
3:00pm	All those attending the rehearsal head downstairs to start boarding the party bus
3:30pm	Wedding party shuttle head to St. Michael Catholic Church
4:00pm	Rehearsal begins at St. Michael Catholic Church
5:00pm	Rehearsal ends and everyone heads to their respective transportation Once everyone is in their vehicle, it heads to Violí
6:00pm	Rehearsal dinner begins at Violí Shuttle arrives with wedding party and heads to hotel to pick up additional guests
6:30pm	Brandon’s uncle (Ira) and aunt (Mimi) does the blessing over the wine and challah Dinner begins
7:30pm	Shuttle (3) arrives at Drake Oak Brook, passengers board
7:40pm	Speeches begin: 1) Julie & Marc (Brandon’s parents) 2) Annabelle 3) Michael, Patrick, & John (Caroline’s brothers)
7:45pm	Shuttles (2) departs for Violí
8:00pm	Welcome drinks begin at Violí Shuttles (2) arrive at Violí Shuttles (1) departs for Violí **shuttles loop every 15 minutes between hotel and restaurant**
9:00pm	Julie gives a welcome speech to everyone at the party
10:00pm	Welcome drinks ends All guests, heading to the hotel, board the shuttles
10:15pm	All shuttles depart for the hotel

SATURDAY, JULY 25

7:00am	Everyone first receiving beauty services arrive at Nagel Room Makeup artist arrives for set up (second artist arrives 1 hour later) Hair team arrives for set up (other artist arrives one hour later) Dresses (Caroline, Maureen, both Mary’s) are left in the wedding suite
7:10am	Makeup & hair service begins **schedule below** Breakfast + coffee provided from the hotel for Caroline and party
11:00am	Personal Floral (bouquets/bouts/loose blooms) are delivered to The Drake Oak Brook Lunch provided from the hotel for Brandon and party  Brandon’s party + dads meet in Brandon’s room for light lunch (not dressed for the day!)
11:30am	After beauty services, Brandon’s mom (Julie) go upstairs to get dressed for the day
11:45am	Brandon’s party + dads go back to separate rooms to get dressed for the day **90% dressed!
12:00pm	Media team arrives at Drake Oak Brook
12:10pm	Brandon’s parry + both dads + mom meet at Brandon’s room for pictures  Photo 2/video heads to Brandon’s room
12:15pm	Brandon and party get quick “getting ready” shots taken in Brandon’s suite  → once dressed, Brandon’s mom (Julie) heads to Brandon’s suite to pins boutonnières → OE to pin all other boutonnières besides Brandon and Justin’s
12:15pm	ALL hair and makeup services are complete Caroline and party head upstairs to Caroline’s suite for photos → remind wedding party to grab all items before heading upstairs! → Caroline’s mom (Maureen) goes upstairs to get dressed for the day
12:30pm	Photos of Brandon and party are complete in the room  Brandon’s party cleans up the space/move items to their rooms before heading to Polo Lounge Caroline’s dad heads back to his room or Polo Lounge until first look with Caroline Brandon gathers his personal items for OE bring to the suite
12:35pm	After photos, Caroline’s party heads to their rooms to get dressed for the day  → Caroline’s mom (Maureen) arrives to Caroline’s suite to help with dress → MOHs get dressed in Caroline’s suite  → Caroline’s party gets dressed in their rooms/meet at downstairs lobby as a group → Once dressed, Caroline’s mom (Maureen) + MOHs (Mary’s) help Caroline get dressed
12:40pm	Brandon, his parents, and party party heads downstairs for portraits + hangout in Polo Lounge After portraits, Brandon and party can hangout in Polo Lounge until the shuttle arrives
1:00pm	Caroline’s party meets in the lobby before heading over to first look location (outside)  Caroline’s brothers are with Caroline’s dad to take him to first look
1:05pm	Caroline’s party heads outside to get staged for first look with Caroline Caroline heads downstairs to do first look with wedding party + dad  Both MOH’s (Mary’s) in charge of grabbing Caroline’s personal items and personal florals Brandon stays in Polo Lounge/doesn’t roam around the hotel!
1:10pm	Caroline has a first look with her wedding party → after first look, Caroline’s party heads to the lobby to board the shuttle  Once given “ok”, Caroline’s brothers bring their dad (Robert) to first look location
1:15pm	Wedding party (1×40) shuttle arrives at Drake Oak Brook  Caroline and Brandon’s party boards the shuttle Sean is in charge of the cooler with water, beers, & seltzers with ice inside (+Brandon’s snacks) Brandon and his parents head to their car Caroline’s has a first look with her dad Family portraits begin afterwards
1:20pm	Any guests taking the shuttle to the church should be waiting in the hotel lobby  Brandon and parents depart in personal car for the church
1:25pm	Caroline and parents head to the car **parked in south lot! Once media team is on board, wedding party shuttle departs for the church (Wheaton/Illinois)
1:30pm	Caroline and parents depart in personal car for the church Wedding guest shuttle (1×56) arrives Drake Oak Brook  → guests from Hyatt House walk over to Drake Oak Brook
1:45pm	Guest shuttle (1×56) depart for the church (Wheaton/Illinois)
1:55pm	Brandon and parents arrive at the church and hangout in family chapel until given “ok”
2:00pm	Caroline and parents arrive at the church, gets tucked away in the bridal suite   Wedding party shuttle arrives at the church (Wheaton/Illinois) → Brandon’s party = family chapel  → Caroline’s party = bridal suite Ushers/Program Passers (James and Jason) are ready at the church
2:15pm	Caroline and Brandon’s parents greet guests as they arrive at the church  Ohana Events checks that the best man (Justin) has wedding rings + veil is on Caroline Guest shuttles (1×40 + 1×56) arrive at the church
2:30pm	Ceremony begins!
3:15pm	Caroline & Brandon are married!!! Immediately following end of ceremony, immediate family pictures begin at the altar Wedding party (besides siblings) can use restroom/hang around, DO NOT board shuttle  Guests are asked to head outside to board the guest shuttles
3:35pm	Family, wedding party, and any other guests are lined up outside the church for grand exit Caroline and Brandon exit the church for a grand exit
3:45pm	Everyone heads to respective transportation to head back to Drake Oak Brook → wedding party shuttle = Caroline, Brandon, wedding party → personal cars = parents → guest shuttles (1×56) or personal cars = guests
4:20pm	Wedding party shuttle arrives; everyone deboards and heads over to photo locations Guest shuttles (1×56) arrives; guests can freshen up in their rooms before cocktail hour
4:50pm	Wedding party pictures end and they head inside hotel to freshen up Couple portraits begin around Drake Oak Brook
5:20pm	Couple portraits wrap up  Caroline and Brandon head inside to enjoy apps and drinks before cocktail hour begins Caroline gets dress bustled by both MOHs (definitely Mary B)
5:30pm	Cocktail hour begins outside in Flower Room + Veranda
5:35pm	Caroline and Brandon head to the fountain for family photos → Brandon’s aunt (Mimi) & Caroline’s brother (Patrick) to help gather everyone
6:30pm	Cocktail hour ends and guests are invited into the Three Oaks Ballroom
6:45pm	Wedding party and parents are lined up outside the Ballroom/around the hotel lobby
6:50pm	Introductions begin into the Ballroom: 1) Caroline’s party 2) Brandon’s party 3) Caroline’s parents 4) Brandon’s parents 5) Caroline & Brandon! Caroline and Brandon have their first dance
6:55pm	Welcome toast by Caroline’s dad (Robert) Followed by blessing by Father Dan
8:25pm	After entrées are served, speeches begin: 1) Caroline’s parents (Robert + Maureen) 2) Mary Claire (co-MOH) 3) Mary (co-MOH) 4) Justin (BM)
8:45pm	After speeches are complete, special dances begin: 1) Caroline & dad 2) Brandon & mom Dance floor officially opens!
11:30pm	Party’s over!! BUT after party begins in Coa All items go into Brandon’s Friday’s night room  Cards and gifts go with Caroline’s parents
1:30am	Last call at Coa
2:00am	Coa closes / after party ends

SUNDAY, JULY 26

9:30am	Brunch at Flower Room + 3 Oaks Room
11:00am	Check out at The Drake Oak Brook
11:30am	Brunch ends

HAIR & MAKEUP SCHEDULE:

Beauty Pointers!

– Hair is best styled with clean (washed day/night before; shampoo 2x and apply condition to your ends only), product-free or limited product in hair.
– IF applying serum/oils, avoid applying to the scalp area
– Hair should be completely dry (BLOW DRY, not air dry, and avoid sleeping with damp hair), unless your plan on a blowout. Anyone with damp hair runs risk of being behind, unless your service includes a blowout
– Part your hair where you think you’d most likely want to style it for the wedding day
– Leave hair down to avoid creases or flatness from a hair band
– Do not apply SPF moisturizers to your skin. You may still moisturize with a non SPF product. SPF causes makeup to fall off quicker.
– Wear a button up shirt or a robe so you don’t mess up your makeup or hair when changing into your dress.
– Brush your teeth and put in your contacts prior to beginning your beauty.
– It is helpful if each bridal party member has an inspirational image prepared to guide them.
– Lipstick will not last all day & night. Pack a touch up lipstick or gloss for reapplication.
– Pluck / maintain eyebrows before the wedding day

Ladies!

1. Please arrive in something comfy to get ready in (button downs and/or something easy/loose to slide over your hair are encouraged)
2. Wedding day outfits (already steamed!) including appropriate bras/Spanx/undergarments
3. Accessories for wedding day
4. Getting ready shoes & wedding outfit shoes
5. If getting your nails done, please select a neutral nail polish or French tips
6. Clutch/purse with personal items/IDs, phone, lipstick, tissues, etc.
7. Wedding card (if applicable)
8. Mary Claire, Mary: Printed speeches for dinner (ideally not read off of your phone). Feel free to email your speech to Sonya@ohanaevents.com if you want a printed copy

Gents!

1. Wedding day outfit (already pressed!)
2. Cell phones, wallets and anything else you may keep in your suit coat pocket (do not put these items in your pants pockets – it will ruin pictures!)
