SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12TH

8:00am	Ladies getting hair and makeup done arrive at Caroline’s parent’s house Breakfast and lunch provided by Caroline’s mom
8:15am	Hair stylist & Makeup artist arrives for setup
8:30am	Hair & makeup services begin **see schedule below**
9:00am	Groomsmen who are getting  straight razor shaves may drop off their tuxes at the condo and  head over to the barber shop OR arrive at the barber shop at their appointment time Slot times: 9:30 am, 10:00 am, 10:30 am Location =  Mario’s Barber Shop (2347 N Southport Ave)
11:00am	Groomsmen arrive at Caroline and Ian’s condo to relax and hang out with Ian
11:15am	Lunch delivered from Chik Fil A for the groomsmen
12:30pm	Photographer 1 (Ian) arrives at Caroline’s parent’s house Photographer 2 arrives at Caroline & Ian’s condo Personal Floral (bouquets/bouts & loose styling blooms) delivered to Caroline’s parent’s house
12:45pm	ALL hair and makeup completed Caroline & bridesmaids take a photo in their getting ready outfits
12:50pm	Caroline’s mom and Ashley help Caroline  put on her dress
1:00pm	Caroline gets zipper dress photo with mom
1:05pm	Caroline’s casual first look with bridesmaids in the house
1:10pm	Caroline’s first look with dad outside of the house
1:15pm	Caroline and bridesmaids take photos outside and around her house
1:20pm	Groomsmen head downstairs and board the shuttle Michael is in charge of the cooler with drinks (bottled water, Coors banquet) and ice inside   Bridesmaids head outside and board the shuttle
2:10pm	Groomsmen arrive at the Chicago Botanic Garden and wait inside the visitor center Ian gets situated for the first look
2:20pm	Bridesmaids arrive at the Chicago Botanic Garden and wait inside the visitor center Caelee pins boutonnieres on groomsmen
3:45pm	Wedding party joins Caroline & Ian for photos
4:15pm	Family begins arriving at the Chicago Botanic Garden
4:20pm	ALL wedding party photos are over
4:25pm	Family photos begin
4:40pm	First round of guests begin arriving at the Chicago Botanic Garden
4:55pm	ALL photos completed, wedding party gets tucked away in the bridal suite
5:00pm	More guests begin arriving Groom’s grandmother and grandfather are pre-sat
5:30pm	Ceremony begins at the English Walled Garden
6:00pm	Caroline & Ian are married! Immediately following end of ceremony, pictures begin at the altar Cocktail hour begins in the Upper Terrace of the English Walled Garden Shrey signs marriage certificate
7:00pm	Cocktail hour ends and guests are invited into the McGinley Pavilion
7:20pm	Caroline and Ian introduced Cake cutting Welcome and toast by the couple
8:30pm	After entrees are plated, speeches begin: 1. Bob // Father of the bride 2. Megan & Leah // Combined MOH 3. Mike // BM
8:50pm	First dance Mother/son Father/daughter Dance floor is open!
11:00pm	Party’s over 🙁 All items go into _____ ‘s car Smaller shuttle takes guests to the hotel Larger shuttle takes guests to the after party

HAIR & MAKEUP SCHEDULE

HAIR / MAKEUP POINTERS

– Hair is best styled with clean (washed day/night before; shampoo 2x and apply condition to your ends only), with NO product in your hair.
– IF applying serum/oils, avoid applying to the scalp area
– Hair should be completely dry (BLOW DRY, not air dry, and avoid sleeping with damp hair), unless your plan on a blowout. Anyone with damp hair runs risk of being behind. unless your service includes a blowout
– Part your hair where you think you’d most likely want to style it for the wedding day
– Leave hair down to avoid creases or flatness from a hair band
– Do not apply SPF moisturizers to your skin. You may still moisturize with a non SPF product. SPF causes makeup to fall off quicker.
– Wear a button up shirt or a robe so you don’t mess up your makeup or hair when changing into your dress.
– Brush your teeth and put in your contacts prior to beginning your beauty.
– It is helpful if each bridal party member has an inspirational image prepared to guide them.
– Lipstick will not last all day & night. Pack a touch up lipstick or gloss for reapplication.
– Pluck / maintain eyebrows before the wedding day

DON’T FORGET TO BRING:

Ladies:

1. Getting ready outfit: Caroline will be providing these, so wear what she gives you!
2. Wedding day outfit: Ensure your dress is on a hanger to be hung up in the suite & that your dress is steamed before the day of! Make sure to include appropriate bras/Spanx/undergarments
3. Jewelry: No preference, but please wear the bracelet that you received in the bridesmaid proposal gift!
4. Shoes: Whatever matches your dress, no white, and remember that ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside (maybe a chunky heel)
5. Nails: No preference
6. Bags: Clutch/purse/ bag with personal items/IDs, mini deodorant to re-apply, phone, lipstick, tissues, etc.
7. Wedding card: if applicable
8. MOH: Don’t forget your speech (ideally not read off of your phone) If you need it printed, please send it to caelee@ohanaevents.com beforehand!

Groomsmen:

1. Wedding Day Outfit: shoes, pants, button down, cufflinks, button studs, bowtie, suspenders, jacket, pocket square
2. Cell phones, IDs, wallets and anything else you may keep in your pocket
3. Wedding card: if applicable
