7:00amAll ladies getting hair & makeup done arrive at The Langham
Hair & makeup artists arrive for setup
7:20amHair & makeup services begin

10:00amGroomsmen arrive at The Langham to relax and hang out with Danny
11:00amALL hair and makeup completed
11:30amCarolyn, bridesmaids & moms put on their dresses separately
Bridal dress/jewelry getting ready photos begin
12:00pmDanny & groomsmen are fully dressed (besides jackets) at this point for photos
12:10pmCarolyn’s first look with bridesmaids in the getting ready suite 
Father of the bride heads to Carolyn’s suite to get ready for first look
12:20pmCarolyn’s first look with dad in the getting ready suite 
12:30pmDanny heads to first look location with photo/video 2 via Uber
Limo Bus arrives on-site for Carolyn and wedding party to board

2:00pmPhotos completed, wedding party heads back to the Limo Bus
2:05pmLimo Bus departs with wedding party to Tiffany Gardens

2:40pmWedding party photos are completed, WP re-boards the Limo Bus
Carolyn & Danny stay to continue portraits
2:55pmAll photos completed – C&D board Limo Bus and head to CIC
3:15pmWedding party arrives to Chicago Illuminating Company
Items can be dropped in bridal suite area – everyone in family photos to refresh
3:30pmFamily begins arriving at CIC
3:35pmMini rehearsal ran by Ohana Events
3:45pmFamily pictures begin on-site
4:00pm(55 pax) Transportation arrives on Delaware Street (between Westin & Hilton) for pick up of guests
4:15pmALL family photos completed
Transportation departs the Westin for guest drop off at Chicago Illuminating Company
4:30pmGuests begin arriving 
Wedding party is tucked in bridal suite for guest arrival
Ushers (Peter & Max) go to ceremony site
5:00pmCeremony begins in Chicago Illuminating Tent
5:30pmCocktail hour begins inside Chicago Illuminating Company
7:00pmCocktail hour ends and guests invited back into the CIC tent
7:20pmCarolyn & Danny are introduced into the room!!
7:30pmWelcome & toast by Paul
7:35pmDinner service begins
7:50pmAfter first course is served, Carolyn & Danny have their first dance
8:35pmAfter second course is served, speeches begin:

8:55pmFather daughter dance & mother son dance within the tent
9:05pmDance party!!!
9:30pmContinuous shuttle begins to both hotels (Westin & Hilton Suites) as requested 
9:35pmOhio State Crew Photo on the dance floor!!

11:30pmParty’s Over!!
Ohana Events finishes gathering all personal items
(55) Final shuttle from CIC to Shenanigans for after party, followed by hotel drop off as needed

HAIR & MAKEUP SCHEDULE

BEAUTY POINTERS

  • Hair is best styled with clean (washed day/night before; shampoo 2x and apply condition to your ends only), product-free or limited product in hair.
  • IF applying serum/oils, avoid applying to the scalp area
  • For anyone with extremely wavy or curly hair and is wanting a smooth style, please arrive with blow dried or straightened hair.   
  • Hair should be completely dry (BLOW DRY, not air dry, and avoid sleeping with damp hair), unless you plan on a blowout. Anyone with damp hair runs risk of being behind.
  • Part your hair where you think you’d most likely want to style it for the wedding day
  • Leave hair down to avoid creases or flatness from a hair band
  • Do not apply SPF moisturizers to your skin. You may still moisturize with a non SPF product. SPF causes makeup to fall off quicker.
  • Brush your teeth and put in your contacts prior to beginning your beauty.
  • It is helpful if each bridal party member has an inspirational image prepared to guide them.
  • Lipstick will not last all day & night. Pack a touch up lipstick or gloss for reapplication.
  • Pluck / maintain eyebrows before the wedding day

DON’T FORGET TO BRING:

Carolyn’s Crew

– Getting ready outfits: Carolyn will be providing getting-ready pajamas!
– Wedding day outfit: Ensure your dress on a hanger to be hung up in the suite & that your dress is steamed before the day of! Make sure to include appropriate bras/Spanx/undergarments
– Shoes: Nude heels
– Bags: Clutch/purse/ bag with personal items/IDs, mini deodorant to re-apply, phone, lipstick, tissues, etc.
– Wedding card: if applicable
– Lauren (Maid of Honor): Don’t forget your speech (ideally not read off of your phone) | Also responsible for making sure Carolyn’s party dress & slippers are packed for a change at the venue 

Danny’s Crew

– Wedding Day Outfit: black shoes, socks, black pants, white button down, suspenders, jacket, pocket square
– Cell phones, IDs, wallets and anything else you may keep in your pocket
– Wedding card: if applicable
– Jack (Best Man): Don’t forget your speech (ideally not read off of your phone) | Also in charge of wedding rings, and Danny’s extra white shirt to bring to venue
– Peter & Jack are both in charge of the foam cooler with alcohol, water bottles and ice inside
