TIMELINE OF EVENTS

Thursday, September 12th

8:30am	Matt golfs with his wedding party (minus Jack + Eric) + both Dads + Ed
3:00pm	Check in available at The Viceroy Hotel
5:00pm	Rehearsal at Assumption Catholic Church
6:30pm	Rehearsal dinner at Topo Gigio Ristorante

Friday, September 13th

6:45am	Bridesmaids arrive at the Viceroy Hotel Breakfast is delivered
7:00am	Hair + makeup services begin **see schedule below**
11:30am	Groomsmen arrive (already dressed) at the Viceroy Hotel to relax and hang out with Matt
11:45am	Lunch delivered for the both bridesmaids + groomsmen
12:00pm	Dana’s mom arrives at the Viceroy Hotel
12:30pm	ALL hair and makeup completed Dana & bridesmaids take a photo in their getting ready outfits
12:35pm	Dana, bridesmaids & moms put on their dresses separately
1:00pm	Dana’s first look with bridesmaids
1:05pm	Dana’s first look with dad at the Viceroy in the suite
1:20pm	Dana & Matt’s first look At the same time, the wedding party heads outside and boards the trolley → Wedding party dates are on the trolley as well Peter is in charge of the cooler with alcohol and water and ice inside
1:30pm	Wedding party trolley departs and heads to Lincoln Park Boardwalk
1:45pm	Wedding party photos are taken in Lincoln Park
2:40pm	Wedding party boards the trolley and heads to the Wrigley Building
3:00pm	Photos begin at the Wrigley Building
3:30pm	Wedding party boards the trolley and heads to Assumption Catholic Church
3:40pm	Wedding party trolley arrives outside the church, Dana remains on the trolley
4:00pm	Ceremony begins
4:40pm	Ceremony ends Immediately following end of ceremony pictures begin at the altar
5:00pm	Mock grand exit photo exiting the church, then everyone boards the trolley
5:30pm	Cocktail hour begins
6:45pm	Cocktail hour ends
7:00pm	Introductions begin (wedding party is NOT being introduced, feel free to take your seats at your tables)
7:05pm	Welcome and speech by Father of the Bride, Gary McLain Dinner begins!
7:20pm	After salads are plated, speeches begin:  1) Trishna (MOH ~ 3-5 min) 2) John (BM ~ 3 min)
8:30pm	Dance party!!
11:30pm	Party’s over! 🙁

HAIR & MAKEUP SCHEDULE:

Beauty Pointers!

– Hair is best styled with clean (washed day/night before; shampoo 2x and apply condition to your ends only), product-free or limited product in hair.
– IF applying serum/oils, avoid applying to the scalp area
– Hair should be completely dry (BLOW DRY, not air dry, and avoid sleeping with damp hair), unless your plan on a blowout. Anyone with damp hair runs risk of being behind. unless your service includes a blowout
– Part your hair where you think you’d most likely want to style it for the wedding day
– Leave hair down to avoid creases or flatness from a hair band
– Do not apply SPF moisturizers to your skin. You may still moisturize with a non SPF product. SPF causes makeup to fall off quicker.
– Wear a button up shirt or a robe so you don’t mess up your makeup or hair when changing into your dress.
– Brush your teeth and put in your contacts prior to beginning your beauty.
– It is helpful if each bridal party member has an inspirational image prepared to guide them.
– Lipstick will not last all day & night. Pack a touch up lipstick or gloss for reapplication.
– Pluck / maintain eyebrows before the wedding day

WEDDING PARTY RESPONSIBILITIES

– Rachel: Please make sure that the food/drinks (breakfast and lunch) are set for the morning
– Allison and Erin: Your hotel room at the Viceroy will be used for steaming
– Trishna: It would be great if you could help steam the getting ready outfits (before anyone actually starts wearing them) & bridesmaid dresses
– Trishna: create a playlist for the morning while getting ready
– Peter: You’re in charge of ensuring the alcohol & coolers are brought on the party bus

DON’T FORGET TO BRING…

Ladies!

1. Dana will be providing robes to get ready in the morning, please wear shorts and/or anything underneath that will be comfortable.
2. Wedding day outfit including appropriate bras/Spanx/undergarments
3. Accessories for wedding day, ideally minimal / delicate jewelry if you wear anything
4. Nude colored heels are preferred for wedding day outfit
5. Neutral colored nail polish is preferred (vs. a loud / bright color)
6. Clutch/purse with personal items/IDs, phone, lipstick, tissues, etc.
7. Wedding card – if applicable
8. Trishna: Speech for dinner (ideally not read off of your phone). Feel free to email your speech to danielle@ohanaevents.com if you want a printed copy

Gents!

1. Wedding day attire: Shoes, socks, pants, cummerbund, shirt, bow tie, jacket, cufflinks, button studs & boutonniere
2. Cell phones, wallets and anything else you may keep in your pocket
