Friday, June 12

3:00pm	Check in available at Ambassador Gold Coast
5:00pm	Diann, Kristi Walker, Mary Vincent, Alyssa Noble arrive at Kaiser Tiger for setup
6:00-6:30pm	Brief “rehearsal” at Kaiser Tiger
6:30-8:15pm	Rehearsal dinner at Kaiser Tiger
8:15-10:00pm	Welcome drinks at Kaiser Tiger

Saturday, June 13

8:00am	Diann drops off wedding items at Bridgeport Art Center Bridesmaids & moms arrive at Ambassador Gold Coast Breakfast delivered from Einstein’s Hair stylist arrives for setup Emily lays out all accessories and invitation suite on a counter for photographer
8:15am	Hair and makeup services begin *see schedule below*
11:00am	Groomsmen arrive at Belden Stratford (2nd floor room) to relax and hang out with Christian Lunch delivered from Jimmy John’s for the bridesmaids & Mary/Ellen/Flower girls Lunch delivered from Dorothy’s for the groomsmen
12:30pm	Photographer 1 (Gretchen) arrives at Ambassador Gold Coast, bridal suite Photographer 2 arrives at Emily & Christian’s apartment Personal Floral (bouquets/bouts & loose styling blooms) delivered to Ambassador Gold Coast
12:45pm	ALL hair and makeup completed Emily & bridesmaids take a photo in their getting ready outfits Emily’s mom gets dressed quickly
12:55pm	Emily & bridesmaids put on their dresses separately Emily’s mom helps Emily get dressed – photo op Alex is in charge of the cooler with drinks, snacks, water and ice inside Groomsmen head outside to board the trolley
1:00pm	Trolley arrives for pickup at Emily & Christian’s apartment Groomsmen board the trolley and depart to the Ambassador
1:05pm	Emily’s first look with bridesmaids in bridal suite
1:15pm	Trolley arrives at the Ambassador Bridesmaids except for Jenny and Sarah head down to board the trolley Dad walks to the bridal suite and waits outside for his cue
1:20pm	Emily’s first look with dad at terrace in bridal suite
1:25pm	Emily’s immediate family photos with both parents and sisters on the terrace Christian walks to the bridal suite and waits outside for his cue Videographer (Phil) arrives at Ambassador Gold Coast, bridal suite
1:30pm	First look on the terrace in the bridal suite
1:50pm	Couple and photographers head down to board the trolley
1:55pm	Trolley departs to Olive Park
2:10pm	Trolley arrives at Olive Park and everyone gets out Wedding Party pictures begin in Olive Park
3:00pm	Wedding party, couple and photographers head back to trolley
3:05pm	Trolley departs to second location: Chicago Board of Trade
3:20pm	Trolley arrives at CBOT Quick wedding party and couple portraits begin
3:40pm	ALL photos are completed and everyone heads back in the trolley
3:45pm	Trolley departs to BAC
4:05pm	Trolley arrives at Skyline Loft, drop coolers of in Diann’s car in parking lot Family begins arriving at the Skyline Loft (5th floor)
4:15pm	Family pictures begin at Skyline Loft (5th floor) at the altar
4:45pm	All photos completed, Caelee leads mini rehearsal (guests are held on the 1st floor until ready)
5:00pm	Wedding party and couple get tucked away in the bridal suite or back room in the East side Prelude music begins Guests begin arriving at the Skyline Loft Emily touches up her makeup in the bridal suite
5:30pm	Ceremony begins in Skyline Loft (5th floor)
5:59pm	Emily & Christian are married!
6:00pm	Cocktail hour begins Immediately following end of ceremony, pictures begin at the altar
7:00pm	Cocktail hour ends and guests invited to take their seats
7:20pm	Emily & Christian introduced Once introduced, Emily & Christian cut the cake
7:25pm	Welcome and toast by Emily & Christian
7:27pm	Speech by father of the bride, Bob
8:25pm	After entrées are plated, speeches begin: 1) Combined MOH 2) Alex / BM
8:40pm	Mother/son dance Father/daughter dance First dance Anniversary dance Dance floor is open!
11:30pm	Party’s over 🙁
11:45pm	After party at Jefferson Tap (2nd floor)

HAIR / MAKEUP SCHEDULE

HAIR / MAKEUP POINTERS

– Hair is best styled with clean (washed day/night before; shampoo 2x and apply condition to your ends only), with NO product in your hair.
– IF applying serum/oils, avoid applying to the scalp area
– Hair should be completely dry (BLOW DRY, not air dry, and avoid sleeping with damp hair), unless your plan on a blowout. Anyone with damp hair runs risk of being behind. unless your service includes a blowout
– Part your hair where you think you’d most likely want to style it for the wedding day
– Leave hair down to avoid creases or flatness from a hair band
– Do not apply SPF moisturizers to your skin. You may still moisturize with a non SPF product. SPF causes makeup to fall off quicker.
– Wear a button up shirt or a robe so you don’t mess up your makeup or hair when changing into your dress.
– Brush your teeth and put in your contacts prior to beginning your beauty.
– It is helpful if each bridal party member has an inspirational image prepared to guide them.
– Lipstick will not last all day & night. Pack a touch up lipstick or gloss for reapplication.
– Pluck / maintain eyebrows before the wedding day

Ladies, please read!

Getting ready outfits: Emily will be providing getting ready outfits so come in comfy clothes but know you’re changing
Attire: Wedding day outfit including appropriate bras/Spanx/undergarments
Shoes: Nude or gold shoes
Jewelry: No preference on type or color, but would like something on the simpler and dainty side
Nail color: Whatever color you want 🙂
Clutch/purse with personal items/IDs, phone, deodorant, lipstick, tissues, makeup for touch ups after outdoor photos, change of shoes for comfort, etc.
Steaming duty:

Speech: Our wedding planner, Caelee, highly suggests printing your speech instead of reading off of your phone. If you need a printed copy, please email it to caelee@ohanaevents.com beforehand!
