Galleria Marchetti Wedding

It’s the last day of September and our minds are blown that we’ve already completed ¾ of the year! We are so excited to finally hop back on our blog (more frequently) as we start to share this season’s weddings. To kick it [back] off, we have our darling Paige & Aaron who married at Galleria Marchetti in the middle of the summer, which happened to be the *perfect* weather out. You never know with June and July, some days are super hot, some are more temperate, and some rain the entire day! Got to love Chicago.

The wedding party spent the morning getting ready at the Kinzie Hotel in River North. After putting all final touches to hair, makeup & outfits, everyone headed downstairs to board the trolley. Even the bride and groom boarded, but the groom was blindfolded so he did not see Paige before they got to their first look location. We loved the extra anticipation 🙂 When they got to the Wrigley Building, they took photos with one another, their wedding party and respective families. They soon traveled over to Galleria Marchetti which happens to have one of the largest private outdoor green areas in the city — which is great to take photos at! Especially on a beautiful day like they had.

About 30 minutes before the ceremony started, all immediate family and wedding party headed inside to watch the signing of the Ketubah. The Ketubah was then displayed during the ceremony which was held under the Pavillion, facing the gardens. It was a heartwarming ceremony that was surrounded by all guests because the chairs were curved facing the chuppah. After Paige & Aaron officially said “I-Do”, guests were released to head to the gardens for cocktail hour. Paige and Aaron treated everyone to a mini bottle of Freixenet that also doubled as their escort cards.

Everyone was invited back inside after a room flip, and were shocked to see a stunning space full of a dance floor, centerpieces and crystal chandeliers. The night was full of speeches, blessings, delicious dinner, late night pizza and cold shake shooters passed around the room. Oh and let’s not forget the horah!
