Hi family and friends! How excited are you for Jess & Justin’s wedding weekend in Chicago?!
We want to make sure you’re as prepared as possible, so please take a look through this page to learn all you need to know going into the wedding day.

TIMELINE OF EVENTS

FRIDAY, JUNE 13

3:30pm	Rehearsal at Lacuna Lofts
4:00pm	Check in available at the JW Marriott Chicago
6-9:00pm	Welcome drinks at VU Rooftop

SATURDAY, JUNE 14

8:15am	All ladies getting hair & makeup done arrive at JW Marriott Makeup artist arrives for setup
8:30am	Makeup services begin
9:45am	Hair stylist arrives for setup
10:00am	Hair services begin for the ladies Groomsmen arrive at JW Marriott to relax and hang out with Justin Lunch delivered from Sweetgreen for the bridesmaids Lunch delivered from Potbelly’s for the groomsmen
11:00am	Photographer 1 (Sarah) arrives at JW Marriott with the gals Photographer 2 arrives at JW Marriott with the guys Personal Floral (bouquets/bouts & loose styling blooms) delivered to JW Marriott
12:00pm	ALL hair and makeup completed Jessica & bridesmaids take a photo in their getting ready outfits *See schedule below!
12:15pm	Jessica, bridesmaids & moms put on their dresses separately Mock getting ready photos at this time of Jessica!
1:00pm	Jessica’s first look with bridesmaids in the getting ready space John (FOB) heads to JW Marriott staircase for first look (top of the stairs) Ohana Events (Jenna) arrives at the JW Marriott
1:10pm	Jessica & Photo 1 (Sarah) head to JW Marriott stairs
1:20pm	Jessica’s first look with dad at the top of the JW Marriott stairs Justin & Photo 2 head to first look location
1:30pm	First look in the JW Marriott on the staircase Shuttle arrives on-site at JW Marriott Chicago
1:45pm	Wedding party & parents head to JW lobby and boards the shuttle Micky is in charge of the foam cooler with snacks, water bottles and ice inside
2:00pm	Shuttle departs JW Marriott & heads to Lincoln Park Zoo’s South Bridge + Honeycomb area
2:20pm	Portraits begin at Lincoln Park Zoo South Bridge + Honeycomb Private vows read at this time Wedding party + family to join for photos after vows
3:15pm	Everyone reboards the shuttle & heads to Wrigley Building
3:30pm	Shuttle arrives at Wrigley Building (bridge backup option)
4:10pm	Everyone reboards shuttle & heads to Lacuna Lofts
4:30pm	Wedding party arrives on-site at Lacuna Lofts Family arrives on-site for rehearsal purposes
4:40pm	Ohana Events runs a Mini Rehearsal on the SkyDeck everyone in processional should be here!!
4:55pm	J&J get photos around the building prior to getting tucked away **wedding party hangouts in bridal suite during this time
5:20pm	ALL photos completed J&J + Wedding party gets tucked away in Bridal Suite prior to ceremony
5:30pm	Guests begin arriving (S Canal Port side) Ushers/Program Passers (Andy & Jack) go to ceremony site
6:00pm	Ceremony begins on the Skydeck
6:30pm	Cocktail hour begins on the Skydeck
7:30pm	Cocktail hour ends and guests invited into La Galleria to take their seats
7:45pm	Jessica & Justin are introduced into the room
7:50pm	Immediately after introductions, they have their first dance
7:53pm	Welcome & toast by John
8:15pm	Once salads are plated, April is invited up to speak
8:25pm	Jessica & Justin cut the cake!
9:00pm	After all entrées are plated, speeches begin:  1. Allison 2. Melissa 3. Sam
9:30pm	Special dances begin & lead us into the open dance floor!
10:00pm	Friends are invited to perform a song Continuous shuttle begins from Lacuna Lofts to JW Marriott (56 Pax)
12:00am	Party is over!! 🙁 Ryan and Adam are responsible for taking home all items at the end of the night (+ bouquet) **ALL open alcohol has to be taken on the night of to the hotel as well
12:15am	56 Pax Final shuttle service from Lacuna Lofts to JW Marriott After party to continue at the JW Marriott!!

HAIR & MAKEUP SCHEDULE

Beauty Pointers!

– Hair is best styled with clean (washed day/night before), product-free or limited product in hair.
– IF applying serum/oils, avoid applying to the scalp area
– Hair should be completely dry (BLOW DRY, not air dry, and avoid sleeping with damp hair), unless your plan on a blowout. Anyone with damp hair runs risk of being behind unless your service includes a blowout.
– Part your hair where you think you’d most likely want to style it for the wedding day
– Leave hair down to avoid creases or flatness from a hair band
– Do not apply SPF moisturizers to your skin. You may still moisturize with a non SPF product. SPF causes makeup to fall off quicker.
– Wear a button up shirt, robe, or other shirt that’s easy to take off so you don’t mess up your makeup or hair when changing into your dress.
– Brush your teeth and put in your contacts prior to beginning your beauty.
– It is helpful if each bridal party member has an inspirational image prepared to guide them.
– Lipstick will not last all day & night. Pack a touch up lipstick or gloss for reapplication.
– Pluck / maintain eyebrows before the wedding day
– Don’t forget to shave any areas that you want to be smooth/clean

DON’T FORGET TO BRING…

Ladies!

– Arrive in something comfortable to get ready in, but know you’ll be changing into getting ready outfits!
– Wedding day outfit including appropriate bras/Spanx/undergarments.
– Bring your gold or beige shoes for your wedding day outfit
– Clutch/purse with personal items/IDs, phone, lipstick, tissues, etc.
– Wedding card – if applicable

Gents!

– ALL Wedding day attire pieces including the following: Black shoes, black socks, black pants, black belt, white button down, no vest, no tie-clip, no cufflinks, no button studs, black tie (bought from Chicago Tie Bar so they all match), no suspenders, black jacket, and no pocket square. 
– Cell phones, wallets and anything else you may keep in your pocket
– Wedding card – if applicable
