We want to make sure you’re as prepared as possible, so please take a look through this page to learn all you need to know going into the wedding day.

TIMELINE OF EVENTS

Thursday, September 14

3:00pm	Check in available at The Ambassador & Hotel Lincoln
6-10:00pm	Rehearsal dinner at Etta – River North

Friday, September 15

7:45am	All ladies getting hair/makeup done arrive at The Ambassador Breakfast delivered from Goddess and the Baker Hair & Makeup artist arrives for setup
8:00am	Hair & Makeup services begin **see schedule below**
10:30am	Groomsmen arrive at The Ambassador  to relax and hang out with Sam Lunch delivered from Goddess and the Baker for the bridesmaids & groomsmen
1:00pm	ALL hair and makeup completed Kathleen & bridesmaids take a photo in their getting ready outfits Kathleen, bridesmaids & moms put on their dresses separately
1:40pm	Kathleen’s first look with bridesmaids in the suite *Ed makes his way to the suite for his first look with Kathleen
1:50pm	Kathleen’s first look with dad in the suite Sam & Photographer 2 (Ryan) head to the first look location
2:05pm	Kathleen & Photographer 1 (Noelle) head to the first look location
2:15pm	First look somewhere just outside or around the hotel *photographers choice **read vows and portraits
2:30pm	Trolley arrives at The Ambassador for wedding party + Ed, Judy, Scott, Paula, Amelia, Keelin + Photographers Wedding party heads to the downstairs lobby and boards the trolley Tim is in charge of the foam cooler with booze/soft drinks items and ice inside *can’t be brought inside the venue*
2:40pm	Trolley departs with wedding party + immediate family to Alfred Lily Pond *portraits only
3:20pm	Kathleen & Sam reboard the Trolley and head to Chicago History Museum for photos
3:30pm	Trolley arrives at CHM & wedding party photos begin around the property **no access to inside until after 4pm
4:10pm	Wedding party + family head inside CHM for Ohana to run a Mini Rehearsal
4:30pm	Family pictures begin at front of ceremony Trolley arrives at Hotel Lincoln for guest pick up
4:45pm	Trolley departs Hotel Lincoln and heads to Chicago History Museum for drop-off
5:00pm	Trolley arrives at The Ambassador for guest pick up
5:15pm	All guests have been dropped off at CHM
5:30pm	Ceremony begins
5:55pm	Immediately following end of ceremony pictures begin outside on the stairs *weather permitting*
6:00pm	Cocktail hour begins inside (with access to the exhibit)
7:00pm	Cocktail hour ends and guests invited to take their seats
7:15pm	Kathleen & Sam are introduced into the room!
7:20pm	Welcome and toast by Ed
7:30pm	Dinner service begins
8:15pm	After entrées are plated, speeches begin:  1. Kelsey 2. Jack
8:45pm	Dance party!!
11:30pm	Party’s over! 🙁

HAIR / MAKEUP SCHEDULE

Beauty Pointers!

1. Hair is best styled with clean, product-free or limited product in hair.
2. Hair should be completely dry. Anyone with damp hair runs risk of being behind.
3. Do not apply SPF moisturizers to your skin. You may still moisturize with a non SPF product. SPF causes makeup to fall off quicker.
4. Wear a button up shirt or a robe so you don’t mess up your makeup or hair when changing into your dress.
5. Brush your teeth and put in your contacts prior to beginning your beauty.
6. It is helpful if each bridal party member has an inspirational image prepared to guide them.
7. Lipstick will not last all day & night. Pack a touch up lipstick or gloss for reapplication.
8. Pluck / maintain eyebrows before the wedding day
9. Don’t forget to shave any areas that you want to be smooth/clean

DON’T FORGET TO BRING…

Ladies

1. Something comfortable to get ready in that won’t mess up your hair or makeup when changing!
2. Wedding day outfit including appropriate bras/Spanx/undergarments
3. Accessories for wedding day
4. Shoes for getting ready and shoes for your wedding day outfit
5. Clutch/purse with personal items/IDs, phone, lipstick, tissues, etc.
6. Wedding card – if applicable
7. Kelsey: Print speech for dinner (ideally not read off of your phone)

Gentlemen

1. Wedding day outfit including the following: black shoes, black socks, black suit pants, black belt if any, rose gold tie clips, black ties, white shirt, black jacket
2. ​Cell phones, wallets and anything else you may keep in your suit coat pocket (do not put these items in your pants pockets – it will ruin pictures!)
3. Arrive in something comfortable to get ready in
4. Wedding card – if applicable
5. Ed & Jack: Printed speech for dinner (ideally not read off of your phone)
