TIMELINE OF EVENTS

Friday, February 21

3:00pm	Rehearsal at Saint John Cantius  *Please be there 10 minutes early, to make sure we can start on time!
5:00pm	Intimate Dinner at Greek Islands with their families
7:00pm	Welcome party at Greek Islands *Open invite for anyone in town! Feel free to come & go as you please
9:00pm	Welcome party concludes

Saturday, February 22

7:45am	Hair + makeup team arrives at The King Drake Suite for setup Ladies arrive to Laurel’s suite (If you’re not in the very first time slot, you’re welcome to arrive closer to 8:30am)
8:00am	All hair & makeup services begin (between 8:00am-9:00am) *See full schedule below*
10:30am	Groomsmen arrive at The Drake to relax and hang out with Jason Personal Floral (bouquets/bouts & loose styling blooms) are delivered to Laurel’s suite *Before 11am!
11:15am	Lunch is provided for both parties
11:30am	Jason & the groomsmen are dressed and mostly ready for photo/video teams to arrive
11:45am	All ladies get touch ups done, as needed Photographers & Videographers arrive at The Drake Hotel
12:00pm	ALL hair and makeup completed  Nancy gets in her dress right away, so she can help Laurel in hers Laurel & her bridesmaids take a photo in their getting ready outfits
12:25pm	Ladies to put on their wedding day attire Ohana Events helps move Jason’s personal items to Laurel’s suite
12:30pm	Midwest Coach Party Bus arrives to The Drake Hotel
12:40pm	Jason, groomsmen & his family board the party bus
12:45pm	Wedding Party Bus departs The Drake with Jason, groomsmen, Tom, Joe,  and family  & heads to the church (Cassie – second shooter to join them!) Bridesmaids drop off their personal items to their individual rooms
12:50pm	Laurel’s bridal portraits
1:00pm	Guest shuttle is staged outside of the Drake Hotel for guests to board Check out of Jason’s Studio Suite
1:05pm	Jason, his groomsmen & his family arrive at the church Midwest Coach Party Bus circles back to the hotel to pick up Laurel
1:15pm	Jason & Family arrive at the church & jump right into taking a couple photos
1:20pm	Guest shuttle departs The Drake & heads to Saint John Cantius
1:25pm	Laurel boards the party bus, and heads to the church *Don’t forget flowers for Mary!!
1:30pm	ALL pre-ceremony photos completed, guests begin arriving at Saint John Cantius Groomsmen will help usher, pass programs and welcome guests → Bride’s side is left / groom’s side is right
1:45pm	Prelude music begins Laurel arrives to Saint John Cantius, sneaks in through the side door
2:00pm	Ceremony begins
3:00pm	They’re married!!! Wedding party to recess in trio’s:  Cale, Michelle, Christian Tom, Libby (Laurel’s sister), Jack (Jason’s brother) *PARENTS TO STAY AT THE FRONT AND GATHER PEOPLE FOR FAMILY PHOTOS*
3:05pm	Guests board the shuttle, to go back to the hotel
3:10pm	Guest shuttle and wedding party shuttle departs the church and heads to The Drake
3:15pm	Wedding party’s bus is staged out front at Saint John Cantius  → Wedding party members who are not in photos can board the shuttle
3:40pm	All family photos completed
3:45pm	Wedding party departs Saint John Cantius and heads to the Wrigley Building
4:05pm	Wedding party photos at Wrigley Building
4:30pm	Everyone boards the party bus at Wrigley Building
4:35pm	Wedding party bus departs Wrigley Building and heads to The Drake
4:50pm	Wedding party bus arrives at The Drake
5:00pm	Cocktail hour begins at Theatre on the Lake  Valet Available
5:10pm	Wedding party bus departs The Drake and heads to Theatre on the Lake
5:20pm	Laurel & Jason arrive at TOTL and get a few final portraits right away
5:33pm	Sun sets outside
5:35pm	Laurel & Jason join cocktail hour and mingle with guests
5:55pm	Private Room Reveal with just Laurel & Jason
6:00pm	Cocktail hour ends and guests are invited to find their seats *Wedding Party & Parents to gather in the bar area, while everyone gets seated
6:15pm	Wedding Party Introductions Newlywed Introductions
6:25pm	Blessing by Jason’s dad, Bill
6:30pm	First course is served
6:50pm	Once salads are plated, family speeches: 1) Father of the Bride, Joe    2) Laurel’s Godfather, John
7:10pm	Entrees are served
7:40pm	Once guests have a few minutes to enjoy their entrees, speeches begin: 1) Libby – MOH 2) Jack – BM
8:00pm	Special Dances Dance party begins!!!
10:58pm	Last song of the night
11:00pm	Party’s over 🙁 Ohana Events finishes gathering all personal items

Sunday, February 23

9:00am | Farewell Brunch at The Drake (Cafe on Oak from 9am-noon)
Feel free to pop in for a light breakfast & to say goodbye to the newlyweds!

HAIR/MAKEUP SCHEDULE

HAIR & MAKEUP BEAUTY POINTERS

– Hair is best styled with clean (washed day/night before; shampoo 2x and apply condition to your ends only), product-free or limited product in hair. IF applying serum/oils, avoid applying to the scalp area
– Hair should be completely dry (BLOW DRY, not air dry, and avoid sleeping with damp hair). Anyone with damp hair runs risk of being behind.
– Part your hair where you think you’d most likely want to style it for the wedding day
– Leave hair down to avoid creases or flatness from a hair band
– Do not apply SPF moisturizers to your skin. You may still moisturize with a non SPF product. SPF causes makeup to fall off quicker.
– Brush your teeth and put in your contacts prior to beginning your beauty.
– Lipstick will not last all day & night. Pack a touch up lipstick or gloss for reapplication.
– Pluck / maintain eyebrows before the wedding day

DON’T FORGET TO BRING…

Ladies

1. Getting ready outfit: Robes & slippers!
2. Wedding day outfits: including appropriate bras/Spanx/undergarments
3. Jewelry: Gold jewelry is preferred.
4. Shoes: Feel free to bring a change of *comfy* shoes for later in the night
5. Nails: Ideally nude/ french, beige, light pink for nails (stray from neons/ obnoxious colors)
6. Clutch/purse with personal items/IDs, phone, lipstick, tissues, etc.
7. Wedding card – if applicable
8. Libby: Don’t forget your wedding speech! It’s strongly recommended (by our planner) to print your speech vs reading it from your phone. Feel free to email it to Emily@ohanaevents.com if you’d like a printed copy provided.

Gentleman

1. Wedding day outfit, as follows: shoes, socks, pants, belt, button down, cufflinks, bowtie,  jacket, pocket square
2. Cell phones, wallets and anything else you may keep in your pocket
3. Arrive in something comfortable to hangout in, you can change into your wedding day outfit prior to the photographers arriving
4. Wedding card – if applicable
5. Jack: Don’t forget your wedding speech! It’s strongly recommended (by our planner) to print your speech vs reading it from your phone. Feel free to email it to Emily@ohanaevents.com if you’d like a printed copy provided.

MISC Responsibilities:
– Nancy Wemhoff: You’re in charge of make sure all bridesmaids dresses & Laurel’s dress is steamed, before you start your hair and makeup services. (Steam can cause your hairstyle to fall out quicker, due to the humidity, so it’s recommended to take care of that first thing)
– ALL Wedding party & Family: Reminder to take lots of pics during the reception to capture their memories!
