TIMELINE OF EVENTS

FRIDAY, AUGUST 14

3:00pm	Check in available at InterContinental Hotel
5:15pm	Everyone attending the rehearsal begins ordering ride share/heading to rehearsal
6:00pm	Rehearsal begins at Old St. Pat’s
7:00pm	Rehearsal ends  Everyone heads over/order ride shares to dinner at Osteria Via Stato
7:30pm	Rehearsal dinner begins at Osteria Via Stato
10:30pm	Rehearsal dinner ends Everyone orders rideshare back to the hotel/their stay for the evening

SATURDAY, AUGUST 15

7:45am	Everyone receiving beauty services first arrive in the Tower Lounge Beauty team arrives for setup
8:00am	Hair and makeup services begin **schedule below** Light breakfast and beverages are delivered from InterCon
9:30am	Mary & her party + Mark & his party order food to be delivered to their rooms (delivered by 10:30am) Beverages are delivered from InterCon for Mark and party
10:00am	Mark’s party (including both dads) arrive to Mark’s room to hang out with Mark **not 100% dressed!
10:30am	Personal florals are delivered to the hotel
10:45am	After beauty service is complete, Mark’s mom (Mandy) heads back to her room to get dressed for the day Both dads (Ron and John) get dressed for the day Micah and Joey (Mary’s party) heads over to Mary’s getting ready for pictures (in getting ready outfit) Kelly (Mark’s party) heads over to Mark’s getting ready for pictures (in getting ready outfit)
11:00am	Media team arrives at InterContinental
11:10am	Once in wedding day outfit, Mark’s mom (Mandy) arrives to Mark’s room and has a first look with Mark
11:15am	Mark and party begin their “getting ready” shots taken → Mark’s dad (John) and brother (Howard) are in detail shots  → Mark’s mom (Mandy) to “pin” boutonnières on Mark & the guys
11:30am	Mary’s mom (Patti) gets into her wedding day outfit
11:35am	ALL getting ready photos for Mark are complete  Mark and party clean up the space  Mark gathers his personal items and TBD person moves it to the bridal suite
11:45am	ALL hair and makeup services are complete Mary and party take photos in matching getting ready outfits in Tower Lounge (back up = Mary’s suite)
11:55am	Mary’s party put on their dresses in separate rooms  Mary’s party moves their personal items out of the Tower Lounge when they go to change in their own rooms  Mary opens Mark’s gift (in getting ready outfit)
12:00pm	Mark and photo 2 head to first look location  Mark’s parents go back to their rooms and relax for ~an hour Ron heads back to his room until Patti calls him to come to first look location with Mary
12:05pm	Once Patti and Lily are in wedding day outfits, Mary gets dressed  Mary’s mom (Patti), sister (Lily), & bridesmaids (Jorie & Jacqlyn) help with dress detail shots
12:10pm	Once arrived at first look location, Mark takes solo portraits before getting staged for first look
12:20pm	Mary’s party is dressed and comes back to Tower Lounge for the first look (waits in the hallway) Back up = Mary’s suite
12:25pm	Mary’s first look with party in Tower Lounge Mary’s dad (Ron) is waiting outside the room and ready for the first look
12:30pm	Mary’s first look with dad (Ron) in Tower Lounge Mark is staged for first look
12:35pm	Mary heads to first look location with Lily (Lily in charge of grabbing Mary’s personal items) Mary’s party cleans up the room and organizes their items for the day
12:45pm	First look & private vows takes place on the rooftop of InterContinental  All wedding party begins heading downstairs to meet in the hotel lobby Joey & Micah loads foam cooler with snacks, waters, & ice onto shuttle  Mary’s parents head back to their rooms and relax for ~30 minutes
1:00pm	Transportation (limo + wedding party shuttle/38 passenger) arrive at InterContinental  → pick up on Illinois Street
1:10pm	Once Mary and Mark meet the wedding party downstairs, they all walk over to Wrigley Building → can take wedding party bus to Wrigley if too hot!
1:15pm	Couple portraits & wedding party pictures begin at Wrigley Building All parents head downstairs to board transportation
1:30pm	Once parents are on board, limo + wedding party shuttle depart for Wrigley Building  Any guests taking the shuttle to OSP head downstairs and meet by the Illinois Street door
1:40pm	Once everyone is on board, limo + wedding party shuttle departs for OSP  → limo = Mary, Lily Patti, Ron → wedding party shuttle = Mark, Mark’s parents, wedding party, & vendor team
1:45pm	Guest shuttle (2×55 passenger) arrives at InterContinental Hotel (Illinois Street) Guests begin boarding the shuttle
2:00pm	Limo + wedding party shuttle arrives at OSP Family goes to the courtyard for pictures while wedding party hangouts in the basement
2:15pm	Program Passers/Mark’s aunts (Alice Clement & Grace Walquist) are at the church  → they pass out programs and ask guests to not use phones during the ceremony Guest shuttle (2×55 passenger) departs for the church
2:25pm	ALL immediate family photos are complete Everyone heads inside/in the basement to freshen up → Mary and party in the bridal suite → Mark and party in the meeting space
2:40pm	Guest shuttle (2×55 passenger) arrives at Old St. Pats and guests head inside Ohana Events checks that the best man (Howard) has the wedding rings + veil is on Mary
2:55pm	Wedding party begins lining up in the hallway
3:00pm	Ceremony begins!
4:00pm	Mary & Mark are married!!! Immediately following end of ceremony, pictures begin at the altar Wedding party can do quick bathroom break but meets at the altar for pictures Wedding party dates board the wedding party bus Guests are encouraged to board the shuttle/order rideshares
4:20pm	ALL photos at the altar are complete Immediate family and wedding party head outside to get ready for the grand exit
4:30pm	Mary and Mark have their grand exit outside the church Wedding party boards the shuttle and depart for the hotel ALL parents board the limo and depart for the hotel  Guest shuttle (2×55) departs for the hotel
4:50pm	Wedding party shuttle arrives at InterContinental  Everyone deboards and wedding party heads inside  Mary and Mark stay back for a few photos outside the hotel  Guest shuttle (2×55) and limo arrives at InterContinental Guests are encouraged to freshen up before attending cocktail hour
5:00pm	Cocktail hour begins in Toledo Room (5th floor) Staff ready to serve sparkling water, white wine, and hors d’oeuvres
5:05pm	Mary and Mark head upstairs to the 5th floor for drinks/apps/bustle Mary’s dress  Drinks and apps are available in Cordova Room for Mary and Mark Mary gets dress bustled by Mary’s sister (Lily)
5:50pm	Extended family meets outside the ballroom for group family photos  1) Patti’s family 2) Ron’s family 3) Mark’s family
6:00pm	Cocktail hour ends and guests are invited into Renaissance Ballroom (5th floor) Parents and wedding party stay back in the hallway to be lined up and introduced
6:20pm	Introductions begin: 1) Ron & Patti 2) John & Mandy 3) Jorie & Kevin 4) Jaclyn & Jason 5) Micah & Joey & Kelly 6) Lily & Howard 7) Mary & Mark!
6:32pm	Explanation of photo challenge/photo challenge begins!
6:42pm	Welcome and toast by Mary’s parents (Ron & Patti) After toast, blessing by Mark’s uncle (Howard) Game corner is officially open for guests
7:45pm	After all entrées are served, speeches begin: 1) Howard 2) Lily 3) Joey & Micah 4) Mary & Mark
8:05pm	Special dances begin: 1) Mary & Mark 2) Mary & Ron 3) Mark & Mandy
8:10pm	Everyone is invited onto the dance floor for a group photo Dance floor officially opens!
11:00pm	Party’s Over 🙁 All items go into Mary & Mark’s room  Cards and gifts go with Mary’s parents (Ron + Patti) Everyone meets at the hotel bar for an informal after party

BEAUTY SCHEDULE

BEAUTY POINTERS

– Be in the room 15 minutes early (this gives you time to settle in, be ready at your scheduled start time, and helps us keep the beauty timeline running smoothly)
– Bring 1-2 inspiration photos (photos help us understand the look you love and create something that works beautifully for your features, hair type, and style)
– Come with clean, fully dry hair (dry hair gives the best foundation for styling whereas wet or damp hair requires extra prep time and can affect the final result)
– Straighten naturally waxy or curly hair (a smoother base allows us to focus on styling and detail work instead of using extra time on prep before your service begins)
– Bring your lipstick or lip color (lip color is usually the first thing to fade so having it with you makes touch-ups easy throughout the day)
– Wear a robe, button-up, or zip-up top (anything easy to remove helps protect your finished hair and makeup when it’s time to get dressed)
– Put contacts in before makeup (this helps avoid watery eyes, smudging, or irritation after your makeup has already been applied)
– Arrive with a clean, makeup-free face (a fresh, clean base helps makeup apply more evenly and wear beautifully form the first photo the last dance)

DON’T FORGET TO BRING…

Ladies

1. Ladies, please arrive wearing your black PJs and beige slippers from the bachelorette! Micah and Joey, please wear neutral colored slippers with the black PJs
2. Wedding day outfit (already steamed!) + appropriate bras/Spanx/undergarments
3. Wedding outfit shoes (silver, gold, black, brown, or other neutral colors)
4. Any accessories (gold or silver) for wedding day outfits – no big, chunky jewelry!
5. Reminders for beauty styles: please no vibrant eyeshadow and lip colors. Hair styles can be up, down, half up, etc.
6. Clutch/purse with personal items/IDs, phone, lipstick, tissues, handheld fan, etc.
7. Patti & Lily: Speech for dinner (ideally not read off of your phone). Feel free to email your speech to Sonya@ohanaevents.com if you want a printed copy!

Gents

1. Wedding day outfit (already pressed!): shoes (Men’s Wearhouse rental), socks, pants (SuitShop), dress shirt (Men’s Wearhouse), bow tie/tie (Men’s Warehouse, cufflinks (Men’s Warehouse), jacket (SuitShop), pocket square (Men’s Wearhouse)
2. Cell phones, wallets and anything else you may keep in your suit coat pocket (do not put these items in your pants pockets – it will ruin pictures!)
3. Arrive in something comfortable to get ready in
