TIMELINE OF EVENTS

FRIDAY, MAY 1

3:40pm	Everyone attending the rehearsal begins ordering ride shares / heading to Canvas ALL items for wedding day are brought to Canvas to leave overnight
4:00pm	Rehearsal (for morning and evening ceremony) begins at Canvas
5:00pm	Rehearsal ends Everyone heads to their separate events in their own vehicles
6:00pm	Mehndi party begins at Hilton Northbrook Shri and party eat dinner and hangout at Topgolf
10:00pm	Mehndi party ends

SATURDAY, MAY 2

3:15am	Those receiving beauty services first arrive to Mia’s suite Light bites and coffee are available in Mia’s suite Beauty team arrives for setup – TBD person goes downstairs to bring up beauty team
3:30am	Hair and makeup services begin **schedule below** Please Zelle Mia for your beauty services: → lashes ($12), extensions ($25), blow dry ($25)
7:00am	Breakfast is delivered for the ladies from _____
7:15am	Photography team (Amanda, Kayleen, & Leslie) arrives at Westin Photography team candidly captures the ladies hanging out
7:30am	ALL parents put on their outfits for the day
7:45am	ALL hair and makeup completed Mia and party put on their morning outfits in their own rooms Draper, both moms, and Yesenia help Mia put on dress for detail shots
7:50am	Shri and party begin to get dressed for the day in their own rooms (Shri to go back to suite)
8:00am	Shri is back in the suite and gets dressed for the day
8:20am	Wedding party meets back in Mia and Shri’s suite for a joint first look → morning ladies go to Mia & Shri’s suite → afternoon ladies head downstairs at 8:45am → all guys go to Mia & Shri’s suite
8:30am	Mia and Shri have a first look with the wedding party outside on the balcony **photo decides location Once Shri’s parents are dressed, they depart for Canvas to finalize ceremony set up
8:40am	After first look, ALL wedding party heads downstairs to take photos around Westin Afternoon ladies head downstairs to join for quick photos
9:10am	ALL wedding party photos complete Everyone boards the party bus  Shri and Nigel head to Canvas with the rental car
9:15am	Party bus departs for Canvas All other family (not on the bus) departs for Canvas in their own personal cars
9:30am	Wedding party bus arrives at Canvas   → Mia and party enter Canvas via side door into the bridal suite and do any final touch ups  → Shri’s party heads inside Shri and Nigel arrives to the area but parks a couple of blocks away All parents arrive at Canvas and greet guests as they arrive
9:40am	Shri’s family and wedding party are staged by the bar Mia’s family meet outside/ front doors to greet Shri  → Wedding party, immediate + some extended family can join
9:45am	Shri and Nigel arrives to Canvas in rental car to begin the baraat → Nigel takes car and parks it in reserved spot at Canvas Mia’s family and wedding party leads Shri inside
9:57am	Family (not in the processional) take their seats in the front rows  Final ask of guests to take their seats Everyone in Shri’s processional is lined up and ready for the ceremony to begin (Mia’s party is in the suite with her until time to line up)
10:00am	Ceremony begins!
12:00pm	Ceremony ends! Immediate & extended family pictures begin at the altar Buffet luncheon begins Wedding party (besides family) head to buffet so they’re ready to depart by 1pm
12:30pm	ALL family photos are complete
12:50pm	Once Mia and Shri are done eating, they head outside for transportation back to Westin  Wedding party heads to party bus  → Shri’s party + Mia’s afternoon party + Yesenia board  → Mia’s morning party can finish their lunch/go to hotel on their own OR board party bus  → parents can stay and talk to guests until ~1:15pm → Mia & Shri drives rental car and parks at Westin
1:00pm	Wedding party bus departs for Westin
1:15pm	Wedding party bus arrives at Westin Everyone heads back to their room and relaxes for ~30 minutes FINAL reminder for parents to depart for Westin for pictures at the hotel
1:30pm	All parents are at the hotel and change into their second outfits
1:45pm	Mia changes into getting ready outfit and Yesenia touches up Mia’s hair and makeup  Everyone else begins to touch up their own hair and makeup  Shri and party begin to get dressed for the day in their own rooms (Shri in Nigel’s room)
2:00pm	Luncheon ends  All guests are asked to leave the venue and head to hotel to relax until the late afternoon
2:10pm	Both moms (Esther & Radhika) are in Mia’s suite, in their second outfits Shri and party all meet in Nigel’s room for getting ready pictures
2:15pm	Mia gets into second outfit  Mia’s party puts on their second outfits (either in Mia’s suite or another room) Both moms and MOH (Esther, Radhika, & Fairie) helps Mia put on dress for detail shots  Shri and party begin their “getting ready” shots taken in Nigel’s room
2:35pm	Mia’s dad (Vince) is outside the suite and ready for the first look ALL photos are complete for Shri and party Shri’s party cleans up the space and grab/put away any personal items
2:40pm	Once dressed, Mia has a first look with her dad in the bridal suite Shri heads downstairs and gets staged for the first look (photo to decide location) Shri’s party head downstairs and board the party bus  Varchas is in charge of the foam cooler with energy drinks, seltzers, beers, waters, and ice inside
2:45pm	ALL photos for Mia are complete Mia’s party begins to head downstairs and board the party bus  All parents can relax for next ~1.5 hours until family pictures at Canvas
2:50pm	Once Shri’s staged, Mia heads downstairs for first look with Shri  Fairie in charge of grabbing Mia’s personal items and stays with her
2:55pm	First look & private vows at Westin (photo to decide final location)
3:05pm	After first look/private vows, Mia and Shri take pictures with the rental car
3:10pm	Mia and Shri head to the party bus  Party bus heads to wedding party portraits for Gallery Park / Little Bear Park
3:35pm	Party bus arrives at Gallery Park  Mia & Shri deboard first and couple portraits begin
4:00pm	Wedding party deboards and heads over to Mia and Shri Wedding party pictures begin
4:25pm	ALL photos are complete  Everyone heads back to the bus
4:30pm	Once everyone is on board, party bus departs for Canvas  Mia and Shri’s families (at the hotel) depart for Canvas → Mia’s parents (Esther + Paul & Vince) depart in personal cars → Shri’s parents (Radhika + Desi) depart in personal cars
4:45pm	Party bus arrives at Canvas; Mia and Shri meet at outside ceremony altar Wedding party (besides family) hangs out inside All parents and family arrive at Canvas and head to outside ceremony altar
4:50pm	Family pictures begin at the ceremony altar
5:15pm	ALL photos are complete Mia and party freshen up in the bridal suite for any final touch ups Shri and party hang out in the groom’s suite
5:30pm	Ushers (Paul, Andrew, Kavi and TBD cousins) are ready at the ceremony site Ohana Events checks that the best man (Nigel) has the wedding rings + veil is on Mia
5:45pm	Last call for family and wedding party to go the bathroom before lining up for the ceremony
6:00pm	Ceremony begins at outdoor patio!
6:30pm	Ceremony ends! Additional pictures begin at the altar Cocktail hour begins inside (outside once chairs are cleared)
7:30pm	Cocktail hour ends and guests are invited inside Bar temporarily closes for transition
7:45pm	Everyone being introduced is lined up by the bar
7:50pm	Introductions begin: 1) Radhika + Desi 2) Esther + Paul 3) Vincent 4) Shriya + Ankur + Arman 5) Yesenia + Jessy 6) Mia’s party (morning + evening ladies) 7) Shri’s party 8) Mia & Shri!
8:00pm	Welcome toast + speeches begin: 1) Shri’s parents 2) Mia’s parents 3) Shri’s sister 4) Mia’s half sister
9:00pm	After dinner, special dances begin: 1) Mia & dad 2) Shri & mom 3) Mia & Shri! Dance floor opens!
12:00am	Party’s over!! 🙁 Guests order rideshares to head to their final destination  All items, including opened beverages, go in both parent’s cars Cards and gifts go with Shri’s dad

HAIR / MAKEUP SCHEDULE

Beauty Pointers!

– Hair is best styled with clean (washed day/night before; shampoo 2x and apply condition to your ends only), product-free or limited product in hair.
– IF applying serum/oils, avoid applying to the scalp area
– Hair should be completely dry (BLOW DRY, not air dry, and avoid sleeping with damp hair), unless your plan on a blowout. Anyone with damp hair runs risk of being behind. unless your service includes a blowout
– Part your hair where you think you’d most likely want to style it for the wedding day
– Leave hair down to avoid creases or flatness from a hair band
– Do not apply SPF moisturizers to your skin. You may still moisturize with a non SPF product. SPF causes makeup to fall off quicker.
– Wear a button up shirt or a robe so you don’t mess up your makeup or hair when changing into your dress.
– Brush your teeth and put in your contacts prior to beginning your beauty.
– It is helpful if each bridal party member has an inspirational image prepared to guide them.
– Lipstick will not last all day & night. Pack a touch up lipstick or gloss for reapplication.
– Pluck / maintain eyebrows before the wedding day
– Don’t forget to shave any areas that you want to be smooth/clean

DON’T FORGET TO BRING…

Ladies

1. Comfy clothes (strongly recommend button up or zip up tops) to wear while getting ready
2. Evening wedding day outfit (already steamed!) + appropriate bras/Spanx/undergarments
** morning outfit will be handled by the draper! **
3. Shoes for while getting ready and wedding outfit (refer to Mia’s powerpoint)
4. Accessories for wedding day outfits (refer to Mia’s Powerpoint)
5. Clutch/purse with personal items/IDs, phone, lipstick, tissues, etc.
6. Fairie, Radhika, Esther, Shriya, & Yesenia: Speech is ideally not read off of your phone! Feel free to email your speech to Sonya@ohanaevents.com if you want a printed copy

Gents

1. Morning + evening wedding day outfit (already pressed!)
2. Arrive in something comfortable to get ready in
3. Cell phones, wallets and anything else you may keep in your suit coat pocket (do not put these items in your pants pockets – it will ruin pictures!)
4. Nigel, Paul, Desi, & Vincent: Speech for dinner (ideally not read off of your phone). Feel free to email your speech to Sonya@ohanaevents.com if you want a printed copy!
