Hi family and friends! How excited are you for Sarah & Kevin’s big day?!
We want to make sure you’re as prepared as possible so please take a look through this page to learn all you need to know going into the wedding day.

TIMELINE OF EVENTS

FRIDAY, JANUARY 30

11:00amSarah or Kevin’s parents drops off ALL personal/set up items at BAC
3:00pmCheck in available at Chicago Athletic Association
5:30pmHotel guests attending the church rehearsal begin ordering ride shares / heading to rehearsal
5:45pmRehearsal begins at Old St Pats (meet in the vestibule)
6:30pmRehearsal ends at Old St Pats
Everyone heads over to dinner (via ride shares or personal vehicles)
6:45pmRehearsal dinner begins at Formento’s
9:45pmRehearsal dinner ends
Those interested head to Miller’s Pub (134 S Wabash Ave) for drinks (via ride shares or personal vehicles)

SATURDAY, JANUARY 31

7:30amPrior to leaving, Sarah sets aside all items for media team in Kevin’s suite 
All bridesmaids dresses are pre-steamed and hung in Sarah’s room
Everyone receiving beauty services are awake and ready to depart CAA
7:45amCar service arrives for those getting beauty services (Sarah, Katie, Anne, Cara, and both moms)
Everyone else to order rideshares to Pin Me Up
8:00amEveryone receiving beauty services arrive at Pin Me Up
Katie and Anne manage delivery for breakfast (bagels and Starbucks) for Sarah and party
Hair and makeup services begin **schedule below**
10:00amKatie order Diet Cokes for delivery to Pin Me Up
11:00amKevin’s party, ushers, and dads arrive at Chicago Athletic Association to hang out with Kevin
Jack Callahan manages lunch delivery (Jersey Mike’s) for Kevin and party
11:30amIF any of the ladies are ready, car service is available to take anyone back to CAA
12:15pmALL beauty services are complete
Car service brings some of the ladies back from Pin Me Up to Chicago Athletic Association
→ Sarah, moms, and whoever else is ready 
Everyone else to order rideshares back to CAA
Katie and Anne manage lunch delivery order to CAA
Kevin & party (including dads) are done with lunch and get dressed for the day
12:30pmSarah and party arrive at Chicago Athletic Association
Lunch is delivered from Jersey Mike’s for Sarah and party
12:45pmMedia team arrives at Chicago Athletic Association and begins flat lay pictures in Kevin’s suite
1:00pmSarah and party are done with lunch and take “getting ready” photos in comfy clothes
After lunch, moms get dressed for the day
1:00pmKevin and party begin their “getting ready” shots taken
→ Joanne (MOG) “pins” boutonnières on Kevin
→ Ohana to pin the remaining bouts on the wedding party and family
1:15pmKevin’s mom (Joanne) is dressed and meets Kevin in his room
1:20pmKevin’s portraits wrap up 
Kevin and party clean up the space and move items to other rooms
Kevin’s party has ~1 hour to relax until heading downstairs/leaving for church
1:30pmSarah and party put on their dresses in the suite 
Sarah’s mom (Karyn) and sisters (Katie & Anne) help Sarah put on dress for detail shots
1:55pmSarah’s dad (Terry) heads over to the bridal suite, waits in hallway until media lets him know
2:00pmSarah’s first look with dad (Terry) in the bridal suite
Wedding party transportation (one trolley) arrives to CAA 
Terry (FOB) is in charge of the foam cooler with Miller Lites & High Noons and ice inside
2:10pmSarah and party begin heading downstairs to board transportation (trolley)
Anne (co-MOH) in charge of grabbing Sarah’s personal items and personal florals
OE brings remaining florals to church
Ushers / Program Passers (Connor Callahan & Will O’Connor) order Uber for the church
2:15pmSarah’s transportation departs for OSP
Kevin’s transportation (one sprinter van) arrives to CAA
2:20pmOnce Sarah has left, Kevin, party, & parents begin heading downstairs to board transportation
2:25pmKevin’s transportation (sprinter van) departs for OSP 
2:30pmUshers / Program Passers (Connor Callahan & Will O’Connor) are ready at the ceremony site
Sarah and party arrives at OSP and goes downstairs to church basement
→ Sarah touches up hair and makeup and relaxes before the ceremony
→ Sarah’s parents greet guests at the back of the church before the ceremony
2:40pmLast bathroom call for parents and wedding party 
Kevin and party arrive to OSP and hangout upstairs
→ Kevin’s parents greet guests at the back of the church before the ceremony
2:53pmEveryone in the processional begins lining up for the processional
3:00pmCeremony begins!
4:00pmSarah & Kevin are married!!!
Immediately following end of ceremony, extended family pictures begin at the altar
Guests not in photos are encouraged to board transportation or drive themselves to BAC
4:15pmAll shuttles depart for Bridgeport Art Center 
Any other guests (not in photos) are leaving in their personal cars for Bridgeport Art Center
4:20pmALL pictures are complete at the altar
Sarah & Kevin continue photos around OSP (a few with wedding party)
Parents board the trolley and relax
4:30pmCocktail hour begins at Skyline Loft
All shuttles (4) arrives with guests at BAC
4:45pmOnce everyone is on the trolley, it departs for Jackson Blvd Bridge
4:50pmTrolley arrives and everyone hops out for quick photos
Once photos are complete, everyone heads back to the trolley
5:20pmTrolley arrives at BAC – all personal items are brought upstairs
Wedding party and parents to join cocktail hour
Sarah gets dress bustled before she heads up upstairs
6:00pmCocktail hour ends and guests invited into the dining space
6:30pmParents, and wedding party are lined up by the bars for introductions
6:40pmIntroductions begin:
1) ALL parents
2) wedding party as one group
3) Sarah & Kevin!
6:50pmAll parents give a welcome toast  (Terry + Karyn & Jack + Joanne)
6:55pmBlessing by Father Thomas Hurley
7:50pmAfter all entrées are served, speeches begin:
1) Katie & Anne
2) Johnny
3) Sarah & Kevin
8:00pmSpecial dances begin:
1) Sarah & dad
2) Kevin & mom
3) Sarah & Kevin

Dance floor opens!
10:30pmParty’s over!! 🙁
MC asks everyone to head downstairs to board shuttles (2) back to CAA/after party 
All items go with TBD / onto the shuttle back to CAA
10:35pmTBD designated person departs immediately for CAA to meet staff for after party
10:45pmOnce everyone is on board, shuttles (2) depart for CAA
11:00pmAfter party begins in the Game Room (at Chicago Athletic Association)
11:15pmShuttles (2) arrive to CAA 
Guests head to Game Room for the after party or back to their rooms
1:00amAfter party ends

HAIR / MAKEUP SCHEDULE

Beauty Pointers!

– Hair is best styled with clean (washed day/night before; shampoo 2x and apply condition to your ends only), product-free or limited product in hair.
– IF applying serum/oils, avoid applying to the scalp area
– Hair should be completely dry (BLOW DRY, not air dry, and avoid sleeping with damp hair), unless your plan on a blowout. Anyone with damp hair runs risk of being behind. unless your service includes a blowout
– Part your hair where you think you’d most likely want to style it for the wedding day
– Leave hair down to avoid creases or flatness from a hair band
– Do not apply SPF moisturizers to your skin. You may still moisturize with a non SPF product. SPF causes makeup to fall off quicker.
– Wear a button up shirt or a robe so you don’t mess up your makeup or hair when changing into your dress.
– Brush your teeth and put in your contacts prior to beginning your beauty.
– It is helpful if each bridal party member has an inspirational image prepared to guide them.
– Lipstick will not last all day & night. Pack a touch up lipstick or gloss for reapplication.
– Pluck / maintain eyebrows before the wedding day
– Don’t forget to shave any areas that you want to be smooth/clean

DON’T FORGET TO BRING…

Ladies

1. Black comfy clothes to wear while getting ready
2. Wedding day outfit (already steamed!) + jackets or shawls + appropriate bras/Spanx/undergarments
3. Shoes for while getting ready and wedding outfit
4. Accessories for wedding day outfits
5. Clutch/purse with personal items/IDs, phone, lipstick, tissues, etc.
6. Karyn, Joanne, Katie, & Anne: Speech for dinner (ideally not read off of your phone). Feel free to email your speech to Sonya@ohanaevents.com if you want a printed copy!

Gents

1. Wedding day outfit (already pressed!): black leather shoes, black socks, pants, white button down, button suspenders, cuff links, bow tie, jacket
2. Cell phones, wallets and anything else you may keep in your suit coat pocket (do not put these items in your pants pockets – it will ruin pictures!)
3. Arrive in something comfortable to get ready in
4. Terry, Jack, & Johnny: Speech for dinner (ideally not read off of your phone). Feel free to email your speech to Sonya@ohanaevents.com if you want a printed copy!
