TIMELINE OF EVENTS

FRIDAY, JULY 17

4:00pm	Check in available at The Westin
7:00pm	Welcome party begins at Robert’s Pizza
~7:15pm	Quick welcome speech by Nora’s parents (Janet + Kent)
10:00pm	Welcome party ends Everyone orders rideshare back to the hotel/their stay for the evening

SATURDAY, JULY 18

8:30am	Beauty team arrives for set up Those first in the beauty chair arrive at Nora & Collin’s suite Coffee and light pastries are available
8:45am	Hair and makeup services begin **schedule below**
9:00am	Collin is awake and gathers his items for the day to bring to Maurice’s room Collin to go to Maurice’s room whenever he’s ready
10:30am	Lunch is delivered from ___ for Nora and party Personal florals are delivered to The Westin
11:00am	Collin’s party arrives at Maurice’s room (in comfy clothes!) Collin and party play card games in the morning while they hang out Food is delivered from ___ for everyone in the room
11:45am	Photographer 1 (Jayde) & Photographer 2 (Mary) arrives at The Westin Photo team begins flat lay pictures and capture candid details of the morning
12:00pm	Collin and party go back to rooms to put on their wedding day outfits (not 100% dressed!) Nora’s dad (Kent) and brother (Ben) drops off personal items at Rockwell
12:15pm	ALL hair and makeup completed Nora and party candidly take photos while hanging out Collin’s party is all back in Maurice’s room Photographer 2 heads over to Maurice’s room After everything is dropped off, Kent and Ben change and leave the car at Rockwell
12:20pm	Collin and party begin their “getting ready” shots taken → Collin’s mom (Pearl) helps Collin “get ready” and “puts” on his boutonnière
12:25pm	Nora and party put on their dresses in separate spaces Nora’s mom (Janet) helps Nora put on dress for detail shots Kent and Ben order Ubers to head downtown
12:40pm	ALL photos of Collin and party are complete Sonya helps brings Collin’s personal items back to the suite Collin and party clean up the room and brings items back to their rooms Collin’s friends to hang out at the hotel until they board the boat later in the afternoon
12:45pm	Collin heads downstairs to be staged for first look Nora’s casual first look with party in the bridal suite
12:50pm	Once Collin is staged, Nora and party begins to head downstairs Emily and Don are in charge of the foam cooler with water and snacks inside Sonya in charge of grabbing Nora’s personal items, boat outfit, and bouquet
1:00pm	Nora and Collin’s first look and portraits take place outside Kent and Ben arrive to Westin
1:15pm	Immediate + some extended family meets in the hotel lobby and waits in hotel lobby
1:30pm	Couple portraits at Westin are complete Family shuttle arrives at Westin and all family begins to board the shuttle Nora and Collin head to the shuttle
1:40pm	Once everyone is on board, shuttle departs for portraits
1:55pm	Shuttle arrives at Olive Park Nora and Collin to deboard first for couple portraits
2:25pm	Family deboards and meets in Olive Park for family portraits
2:55pm	ALL photos completed, everyone heads back to the shuttle Once everyone is on board, shuttle departs for DuSable Harbor
3:30pm	Boat departs from DuSable Harbor to head to JBYS dock All guests taking the boat to Rockwell begin heading to Jefferson Beach Yacht Sales
3:50pm	Guests begin arriving at Chicago Boat Company and are ready to start boarding **Board timing begins at 4pm!**
4:15pm	Boat departs for river cruise / Rockwell on the River
5:30pm	Boat arrives at Rockwell  Nora, Collin, and family first head inside Rockwell to freshen up/change  All guests start to deboard the boat and head inside Ohana Events checks that Nora’s brother (Ben) have the wedding rings
6:00pm	Ceremony begins inside Rockwell on the River!
6:30pm	Nora & Collin are married!!! Cocktail hour begins outside Immediately following end of ceremony, extended family pictures begin at the altar
7:30pm	Cocktail hour ends and guests are invited inside
7:45pm	Nora and Collin are introduced and have their first dance
7:52pm	Welcome and toast by Nora’s parents (Janet + Kent)
8:05pm	After welcome toast, food stations open
8:53pm	After all guests have eaten, speeches begin: 1) Collin’s parents (Pearl & Kelvin) 2) Nora’s brother (Ben) 3) Collin’s friend (Maurice)
9:05pm	Dance floor opens! Game corner is officially open for guests
9:45pm	Two shuttles (2×55) arrive at Rockwell
10:00pm	Shuttle one departs for Westin/Residence Inn
10:45pm	Shuttle two is available for boarding
11:00pm	Shuttle two departs for Westin
11:45pm	Shuttle one is available for boarding
12:00am	Party’s Over 🙁 Ohana Events finishes loading all personal items into Kent’s car / all items go with Nora’s parents
12:20am	Shuttle departs for Westin/Residence Inn
12:45am	Both shuttles arrive at Westin/Residence Inn

SUNDAY, JULY 19

11:00am	Farewell dim sum begins at Minghin Streeterville
12:00pm	Check out at The Westin

BEAUTY SCHEDULE

BEAUTY POINTERS

– Hair is best styled with clean (washed day/night before; shampoo 2x and apply condition to your ends only), product-free or limited product in hair.
– IF applying serum/oils, avoid applying to the scalp area
– Hair should be completely dry (BLOW DRY, not air dry, and avoid sleeping with damp hair), unless your plan on a blowout. Anyone with damp hair runs risk of being behind. unless your service includes a blowout
– Part your hair where you think you’d most likely want to style it for the wedding day
– Leave hair down to avoid creases or flatness from a hair band
– Do not apply SPF moisturizers to your skin. You may still moisturize with a non SPF product. SPF causes makeup to fall off quicker.
– Wear a button up shirt or a robe so you don’t mess up your makeup or hair when changing into your dress.
– Brush your teeth and put in your contacts prior to beginning your beauty.
– It is helpful if each bridal party member has an inspirational image prepared to guide them.
– Lipstick will not last all day & night. Pack a touch up lipstick or gloss for reapplication.
– Pluck / maintain eyebrows before the wedding day
– Don’t forget to shave any areas that you want to be smooth/clean

DON’T FORGET TO BRING…

Ladies

1. Please arrive in a loose button up/zip up (something easily removable!) to wear while getting ready
2. Wedding day outfit (already steamed!) + appropriate bras/Spanx/undergarments
3. Getting ready shoes & wedding outfit shoes
4. Any accessories for wedding day outfits
5. Clutch/purse with personal items/IDs, phone, lipstick, tissues, etc.
6. Janet & Pearl: Speech for dinner (ideally not read off of your phone). Feel free to email your speech to Sonya@ohanaevents.com if you want a printed copy!

Gents

1. Wedding day outfit (already pressed!)
2. Cell phones, wallets and anything else you may keep in your suit coat pocket (do not put these items in your pants pockets – it will ruin pictures!)
3. Arrive in something comfortable to get ready in
4. Conor: Star Wars Unlimited cards
5. Kent, Kelvin, Ben, & Maurice: Speech for dinner (ideally not read off of your phone). Feel free to email your speech to Sonya@ohanaevents.com if you want a printed copy!
