Friday, December 16

2:00pmRehearsal at the Adler Planetarium
6:30-9:30pmRehearsal dinner at Wildfire in the Avalon Room

Saturday, December 17

8:45amAll ladies getting hair & makeup done arrive at the Pendry 
Sarah & Michelle are in charge of setting up brunch (bagels shipped from NY night before)
Hair & Makeup teams arrive for setup
9:00amHair and Makeup services begin *see detailed schedule at bottom of this page*
10:45amGroomsmen arrive at the Pendry to relax and hang out with Max
Lunch is delivered for the guys
12:00pmRita’s hair + makeup is completed
Rita gets dressed (other ladies still getting hair + makeup done)
12:30pmRita + Dad’s first look at the Pendry Hotel (on the bridge)
Max + Photographer Uber to the Field Museum
12:40pmRita + Photographer + Danielle (wedding planner) Uber to the Field Museum
Bridesmaids + Groomsmen finish getting ready and relax until needed for photos (3:15pm)
12:50pmFamily at the Pendry board the shuttle outside
1:00pmRita + Max’s first look!
The shuttle leaves the Pendry and heads to pick up more family at Le Meridien
1:10pmFamily at Le Meridien board the shuttle outside and leave for the Field Museum
1:30pmFamily photos begin at the Field Museum
2:30pmThe train conductors (Serena + Zoie) arrive at the Field Museum for photos
3:00pmRita, Max, Photographers + Danielle take the shuttle over to Millenium Park
3:15pmWedding party walks to Millenium Park, meet at the Bean (large silver “art” that looks like a bean)
* Julia is in charge of making sure the groomsmen are accounted for
* Lili and Frank are in charge of making sure the bridesmaids are accounted for
3:30pmWedding party photos begin at Millenium Park
5:00pmWedding party shuttle departs Millenium Park and head to the Adler Planetarium
5:30pmWedding party arrives at the Adler Planetarium and everyone heads to the Sky Theater
Mini rehearsal to show placement of the wedding party at the ceremony site (with chuppah)
→ Then, wedding party drops off wedding items in the bridal suite
5:45pmRabbi arrives // Ketubah signing in the bridal suite (not to start later than 6:00pm)
→ Lili & Mikey need to be at the Ketubah signing (witnesses)
6:30pmCeremony begins!!!
7:15pmCocktail Hour Begins
8:00pmCocktail Hour Ends
8:15pmWedding Party Introductions
Newlywed Introductions
Welcome by Rita’s parents
8:30pmEveryone begins eating dinner
8:45pmEveryone gets up to dance!
9:00pmSpeech by parents of the groom
Guests continue eating once the speech ends
9:30pmParent dances
Everyone gets back on the dance floor, another dance set!
10:15pmEveryone sits back at their seats, dessert course is served to the tables
10:30pm After all entrees are plated, wedding party speeches begin:

2. David 
Back to the dance floor after speeches!
11:30pm After party in the Sky Theatre!
Shuttle is available for anyone who wants to go back to the hotel(s)
1:00amThe best wedding EVER is officially over 🙁
1:20amFinal shuttle service departs the Adler and takes guests back to the hotel(s)

Sunday, December 18

10:30amBoozy brunch at the Pendry Hotel in the Chateau Carbide room

HAIR / MAKEUP SCHEDULE

Beauty Pointers!

  • Please arrive with clean, product-free or limited product in hair.
  • Hair should be completely dry, unless your service includes a blowout. Anyone with damp hair will be asked to step away and finish blow-drying their hair.
  • If you have curly hair and you do not wish to wear your natural curl, please wash and blow-dry your hair straight. Do not straighten with a flat iron.
  • Do not apply SFP moisturizers to your skin. You may still moisturize with a non SPF product.
  • Brush your teeth and put in your contacts prior to sitting in the makeup chair.
  • It is helpful if each lady has an inspirational image prepared to show the hairstylist/makeup artist.
  • Lipstick will not last all day & night. Pack a touchup lipstick or gloss for reapplication.

  1. Wedding day outfit including appropriate bras/Spanx/undergarments
  2. Please wear something comfortable to get ready in
  3. Rita is providing a shawl for outdoor photos! So no need to worry about the cold.
  4. Shoes for getting ready
  5. Shoes for your wedding day outfit
  6. Jewelry: rings, bracelets, earrings (if applicable)
  7. Phones + phone chargers
  8. Your favorite lipstick
  9. Clutch/purse for personal items/IDs, phone, tissues, etc.
  10. Wedding Card (if applicable)
  11. Michelle – Make sure you have your speech accessible! Ideally your speech is printed rather than read off of your iPhone (feel free to send your speech to danielle@ohanaevents.com if you need it printed)

Men

  1. Wedding day outfit including: shoes, socks, pants, belt, white button-down, cufflinks, bowties, suspenders, jacket
  2. Cell phones, wallets and anything else you may keep in your pocket
  3. Arrive in something comfortable to hang out in so you don’t have to be in your wedding outfit all day
  4. David – Make sure you have your speech accessible! Ideally your speech is printed rather than read off of your iPhone (feel free to send your speech to danielle@ohanaevents.com if you need it printed)
