TIMELINE OF EVENTS

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 20

3:00pm	Check in available at The Kimpton Gray
3:30pm	Everyone begins ordering rideshares or departs for Lacuna Lofts
4:00pm	Rehearsal begins at Lacuna Lofts ** enter via parking lot door, NOT Canalport **
5:00pm	Rehearsal ends Everyone drives/orders their rideshares back to Kimpton
6:00pm	Rehearsal dinner begins at Boleo

SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 21

7:15am	Beauty team arrives for setup
7:30am	Everyone receiving beauty services arrive at Robin’s suite
7:35am	Hair and makeup services begin **schedule below** Coffee & light breakfast is provided for Robin and party
8:00am	Josh’s siblings and friends arrive to Josh’s room and hang out (in comfy clothes) Coffee & breakfast delivered for the Josh and party
8:15am	Barber services begin in Josh’s room → Order of services: Matozzi, Lucas, Jed, Josh’s dad (Gary), Josh
10:00am	Brunch delivered from Kimpton room service for the Robin and party Personal florals are delivered to Kimpton
10:45am	Media team arrives on site at Kimpton Gray
11:15am	ALL barber services are complete All guys go to their rooms to get ready and put on wedding day outfits (not 100% on)
11:30am	ALL hair and makeup services are complete Robin & party casually take photos together Both moms put on their wedding day outfits
11:40am	Robin and party put on their dresses in separate rooms → Robin’s mom (Theresa) and sister (Tricia) help Robin get into her dress → once dressed, Josh’s mom (Adrianna) heads to Josh’s room
11:45am	Josh’s party meets back in Josh’s room for photos
11:50am	Josh and party begin their “getting ready” photos  → Josh’s dad (Gary) and brother (Jed) help get Josh ready → Josh’s friends get ready with him  → Josh’s mom (Adrianna) pins bouts on him & his brother
12:05pm	Robin’s dad is ready, and waiting outside of the suite, for first look
12:10pm	Robin’s first look with dad in the bridal suite
12:15pm	ALL photos with Josh are complete Josh gets staged for first look on the stairs (by Vol. 39)
12:20pm	Once staged, Robin heads downstairs  Alex (Robin & Josh’s neighbor) manages Robin’s personal items/bag and bouquet
12:30pm	Robin and Josh’s first look at Kimpton Hotel (staircase closest to LaSalle)  Couple portraits begin on the staircase and in Vol. 39
12:50pm	ALL family meets on the second floor (by Vol. 39) for photos  Ohana Events makes sure family has their personal floral (boutonnières/corsages/flower petals) → Robin’s mom pins Mico’s bout
1:00pm	Family pictures begin at Kimpton Gray on the second floor (by Robie Room/Vol. 39)
1:30pm	ALL family photos are complete Everyone heads downstairs for the shuttle (including Benny) Alex (neighbor) is in charge of the bag with waters, snacks, Benny’s items, and towel for Benny Shuttle arrives to Kimpton Gray (La Salle entrance)
1:45pm	Everyone departs for Lacuna Lofts via shuttle
2:00pm	Shuttle arrives at Lacuna Lofts Couple portraits and any remaining family portraits begin around Lacuna Lofts  Shuttle loops around for guests
2:15pm	Any guests taking the shuttle to Lacuna meet at hotel valet
2:20pm	Shuttle arrives to Kimpton Gray for guests
2:30pm	Shuttle departs for Lacuna with guests
2:45pm	ALL photos completed, wedding party gets tucked away in the bridal suite (5th floor) Robin touches up her hair/makeup in the bridal suite
3:00pm	Shuttle arrives to Lacuna Lofts with guests
3:10pm	Last call for wedding party and family to use restrooms and to freshen up Ohana Events checks that the ringbearer (Max) has the wedding rings + veil on Robin
3:25pm	Wedding party begins heading downstairs and lining up for the ceremony
3:30pm	Ceremony begins in Magik Street!
4:00pm	Robin and Josh are married!!! Cocktail hour begins in Magik Street Immediately following end of ceremony, pictures begin at the altar Mariam (Robin and Josh’s neighbor) takes Benny home
4:20pm	After photos are complete, Alex bustles Robin’s dress
5:00pm	Cocktail hour ends and guests are invited upstairs into La Galleria (5th floor)
5:25pm	Robin and Josh are introduced into dinner + give a welcome toast
5:30pm	Officiant (Josh) does a poem reading Robin’s mom (Theresa) gives a blessing before dinner is served
5:45pm	Once all salads are served, speeches begin: 1) Theresa & Ruben 2) Adrianna & Gary
6:30pm	After all entrées are served, speeches begin: 1) Tricia 2) Jed 3) Mico
6:50pm	Special dances begin: 1) Robin & Josh 2) Robin & dad 3) Josh & mom
6:55pm	Money dance begins ** Robin’s mom (Theresa) manages the bag of money from money dance ** After money dance, wedding guests are invited onto the dance floor
7:10pm	Robin changes into second outfit for the evening (Alex to help Robin change)
8:30pm	Evening shuttle to Kimpton Gray is available
8:45pm	Continuous shuttle begins between Lacuna Lofts and Kimpton Gray
9:00pm	Shuttle arrives to Kimpton Gray Loops around back to Lacuna Lofts
9:20pm	Shuttle arrives to Lacuna and is available for guests
9:30pm	Shuttle departs for Kimpton Gray
9:45pm	Shuttle arrives to Kimpton Gray Loops around back to Lacuna Lofts
10:30pm	Party’s Over!! 🙁 Guests to gather items and head downstairs for shuttle/ride shares/their cars Cards and gifts go with Robin’s mom (Theresa) All other items (set up, Robin’s dress goes, extra beverages, etc.) with Josh’s brother (Jed)
10:45pm	Once everyone is on board, final shuttle service departs for Kimpton Gray/Miller’s
11:00pm	After party begins at Miller’s Pub (134 S Wabash Ave)

SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 22

11:00am	Family/birthday lunch at Grant Park Bistro (800 S Michigan Ave)
12:00pm	Check out at The Kimpton Gray

HAIR & MAKEUP SCHEDULE:

Beauty Pointers!

– Hair is best styled with clean (washed day/night before; shampoo 2x and apply condition to your ends only), product-free or limited product in hair.
– IF applying serum/oils, avoid applying to the scalp area
– Hair should be completely dry (BLOW DRY, not air dry, and avoid sleeping with damp hair), unless your plan on a blowout. Anyone with damp hair runs risk of being behind, unless your service includes a blowout
– Part your hair where you think you’d most likely want to style it for the wedding day
– Leave hair down to avoid creases or flatness from a hair band
– Do not apply SPF moisturizers to your skin. You may still moisturize with a non SPF product. SPF causes makeup to fall off quicker.
– Wear a button up shirt or a robe so you don’t mess up your makeup or hair when changing into your dress.
– Brush your teeth and put in your contacts prior to beginning your beauty.
– It is helpful if each bridal party member has an inspirational image prepared to guide them.
– Lipstick will not last all day & night. Pack a touch up lipstick or gloss for reapplication.
– Pluck / maintain eyebrows before the wedding day

Ladies!

1. Robin will provide getting ready outfits so come in comfy clothes but know you’ll be changing
2. Wedding day outfits (already steamed!) including appropriate bras/Spanx/undergarments
3. Accessories for wedding day
4. Getting ready shoes & wedding outfit shoes
5. If getting your nails done, please select a neutral nail polish or French tips
6. Clutch/purse with personal items/IDs, phone, lipstick, tissues, etc.
7. Wedding card (if applicable)
8. Theresa, Adrianna, Tricia, & Marissa: Printed speech for dinner (ideally not read off of your phone). Feel free to email your speech to Sonya@ohanaevents.com if you want a printed copy

Gents!

1. Wedding day outfit (already pressed!): shoes, socks, pants, button down, vest, bowtie, jacket
2. Cell phones, wallets and anything else you may keep in your suit coat pocket (do not put these items in your pants pockets – it will ruin pictures!)
