TIMELINE OF EVENTS

FRIDAY, APRIL 4

3:00pm	Check in available at The Langham Check in available at InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile
5:15pm	Corey and Simon leave for Bar Avec
5:30pm	Corey and Simon arrives at Bar Avec Couple portraits begin Family members leave for Bar Avec
5:45pm	Family begins arriving at Bar Avec Photos with family members begin
6:30pm	Welcome reception begins at Bar Avec
7:15pm	Grandparents Shabbat prayers
8:30pm	MC’s (Jaclyn + Danielle) kick off speeches
8:40pm	Speeches begin: 1) Yasmin, Marcus, William 2) Shira, Kate, Jen 3) Kevin, Jesse, Andrew 4) Arielle and Jason
10:30pm	Welcome reception ends

SATURDAY, APRIL 5

9:45am	Everyone receiving beauty services arrive at The Langham Breakfast delivered from ____ Hair stylist arrives for setup Makeup artist arrives for setup Corey lays out all accessories and invitation suite on a counter for photographer
10:00am	Beauty services begin (other artists start 15 minutes later) **schedule found below**
12:30pm	Corey’s bouquet and loose blooms are delivered to The Langham Lunch delivered from ____ for the Corey and party Simon’s family and friends arrive to his suite and hang out Lunch delivered from ____ for the Simon and party
1:45pm	Simon and family/friends have candid “getting ready” shots taken
2:15pm	ALL hair and makeup completed Corey and party take photos in their matching getting ready outfits
2:30pm	Corey and family/friends get dressed in separate rooms (Corey’s mom and sister help Corey into her dress)
2:50pm	Corey’s first look with bridesmaids in her suite (and possibly Corey’s dad, Jeff)
2:55pm	Simon heads to the first look location Simon is in charge of the insulated lunch bag with water, sparkling water, and snacks (pretzels)
3:00pm	Simon is positioned at the first look location Once Simon is positioned, Corey heads to first look location Sonya/OE grabs wedding day personal items and bouquet Family and friends hangout at the hotel/finish getting ready
3:30pm	Corey and Simon depart for couple portraits
4:15pm	All immediate family begin ordering rideshares to Adler
4:20pm	Corey and Simon arrive to Adler and take additional portraits
4:40pm	Family begins arriving at Adler Planetarium & family portraits begin
5:00pm	Friends begin ordering rideshares to Adler for ketubah signing
5:15pm	Once family photos are complete, OE runs a mini ceremony rehearsal for family in the ceremony
5:20pm	Once friends arrive on site, Corey and Simon take pictures with friends
5:30pm	ALL photos completed Corey, Simon, family, and friends head downstairs/to the private suite for the ketubah signing
5:45pm	Ketubah signing begins
6:15pm	Ketubah signing is complete and everyone freshens up before the ceremony  Ohana Events checks that the Rabbi has the wedding rings
6:25pm	Family heads upstairs and lines up for the ceremony
6:30pm	Ceremony begins!
7:00pm	Corey and Simon are married!!! Cocktail hour begins in Adler’s front lobby + Welcome Gallery
8:15pm	Cocktail hour ends and guests are invited into the dining space
8:30pm	Corey and Simon are introduced into the dining space → first dance → Horah!
8:45pm	Food stations open (catering to dismiss guests)
9:45pm	Once all guests have eaten, speeches begin: 1) Nicola 2) Janice and Jeff 3) Phil 4) Corey & Simon
10:05pm	Dance floor opens!
12:00am	Reception is over 🙁 BUT after party begins in Grainger Sky Theater! All personal and decor items go with Arielle
1:00am	After party ends at Adler Everyone orders rideshares back to their final destination

SUNDAY, APRIL 6

10:00am-1:00pm	Check in available at The Langham
11:00am	Check out at InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile
12:00pm	Check out at The Langham

HAIR / MAKEUP SCHEDULE

Beauty Pointers!

– Hair is best styled with clean (washed day/night before; shampoo 2x and apply condition to your ends only), product-free or limited product in hair.
– IF applying serum/oils, avoid applying to the scalp area
– Hair should be completely dry (BLOW DRY, not air dry, and avoid sleeping with damp hair), unless your plan on a blowout. Anyone with damp hair runs risk of being behind. unless your service includes a blowout
– Part your hair where you think you’d most likely want to style it for the wedding day
– Leave hair down to avoid creases or flatness from a hair band
– Do not apply SPF moisturizers to your skin. You may still moisturize with a non SPF product. SPF causes makeup to fall off quicker.
– Wear a button up shirt or a robe so you don’t mess up your makeup or hair when changing into your dress.
– Brush your teeth and put in your contacts prior to beginning your beauty.
– It is helpful if each bridal party member has an inspirational image prepared to guide them.
– Lipstick will not last all day & night. Pack a touch up lipstick or gloss for reapplication.
– Pluck / maintain eyebrows before the wedding day
– Don’t forget to shave any areas that you want to be smooth/clean

DON’T FORGET TO BRING…

Ladies

1. Corey will provide getting ready outfits before wedding day so please arrive in your outifts
2. Wedding day outfit including appropriate bras/Spanx/undergarments
3. Shoes for getting ready and wedding day
4. Accessories for wedding day
5. Clutch/purse with personal items/IDs, phone, lipstick, tissues, etc.
6. Nicola & Janice: Speech for dinner (ideally not read off of your phone). Feel free to email your speech to Sonya@ohanaevents.com if you want a printed copy!

Gents

1. Wedding day outfit:
2. Cell phones, wallets and anything else you may keep in your suit coat pocket (do not put these items in your pants pockets – it will ruin pictures!)
3. Arrive in something comfortable to get ready in
4. Jeff & Phil: Speech for dinner (ideally not read off of your phone). Feel free to email your speech to Sonya@ohanaevents.com if you want a printed copy!
