TIMELINE OF EVENTS

FRIDAY, AUGUST 28TH

3:00pm	Check in available at Hilton Chicago
7:00-10:00pm	Rehearsal dinner at the Skyline Club

SATURDAY, AUGUST 29TH

9:30am	Bridesmaids & moms arrive at Hilton Chicago  Bagels and fruit brought by Sarah’s mom
9:45am	Hair and makeup services arrive
10:00am	Hair and makeup services begin **schedule below**
11:00am	Lunch is delivered from Just Salad for the ladies
1:15pm	Groomsmen and dads arrive fully dressed at Hilton Chicago to take with Sam in the bar downstairs
1:45pm	Photographer 1 (Nichole) arrives at Hilton Chicago and heads to the ladies  Photographer 2 (Kyle) arrives at Hilton Chicago and heads to the groomsmen Personal Floral (bouquets/bouts & loose styling blooms) delivered to Hilton Chicago Ohana Events (Caelee) arrives at ____
2:00pm	ALL hair and makeup completed Photos of Sam with groomsmen at the bar in the lobby Photos of Sarah getting ready
2:10pm	Mom helps Sarah in dress – zipper photo op
2:15pm	Bridal portraits begin
2:30pm	Sam heads out to the garden and gets situated for the first look
2:40pm	First look
3:00pm	Wedding party heads downstairs and meets the couple outside for photos
3:15pm	Wedding party photos begin
3:30pm	Family begins arriving at the Hilton Chicago Lobby
3:45pm	Wedding party pictures are completed **Wedding party members (who are not family) are free to leave and meet back at Chicago Winery by 6:00 PM for welcome drinks and 6:30 PM ceremony** Family photos begin
4:15pm	ALL photos are completed. Everyone orders their uber to the venue All family and wedding party will uber over to the venue
4:40pm	Grandparents arrive at the venue
4:45pm	Everyone arrives at the venue and drops their stuff off in the bridal suite and heads to the ceremony location Photo with grandparents
5:00pm	Couple takes barrel photos
5:15pm	Mini rehearsal ran by Ohana Events (Caelee)
5:30pm	Wedding party and the couple get tucked away in the bridal suite
6:00pm	Guests begin arriving at Chicago Winery Welcome drinks are passed Bride’s grandparents (Kathy & Bob, Gary & Sue) are pre-sat Groom’s grandparents (Alex & Anna) are pre-sat
6:30pm	Ceremony begins in the Overlook
7:00pm	Sarah & Sam are married!! Cocktail hour begins on the Terrace
8:00pm	Cocktail hour ends and guests invited back into the Overlook
8:15pm	Sarah & Sam introduced
8:20pm	Welcome & toast by bride’s dad
8:30pm	After salads are plated, speeches begin: 1. Artie (BM) 2. Julia (MOH)
9:25pm	First dance Father/daughter dance Mother/son dance Dance floor is open!
9:35pm	Hora!
12:00am	Party’s over 🙁 All items that the couple are saving go into bride’s parent’s car

HAIR & MAKEUP SCHEDULE

Beauty Pointers!

– Hair is best styled with clean (washed day/night before; shampoo 2x and apply condition to your ends only), product-free or limited product in hair.
– IF applying serum/oils, avoid applying to the scalp area
– Hair should be completely dry (BLOW DRY, not air dry, and avoid sleeping with damp hair), unless your plan on a blowout. Anyone with damp hair runs risk of being behind. unless your service includes a blowout
– Part your hair where you think you’d most likely want to style it for the wedding day
– Leave hair down to avoid creases or flatness from a hair band
– Do not apply SPF moisturizers to your skin. You may still moisturize with a non SPF product. SPF causes makeup to fall off quicker.
– Wear a button up shirt or a robe so you don’t mess up your makeup or hair when changing into your dress.
– Brush your teeth and put in your contacts prior to beginning your beauty.
– It is helpful if each bridal party member has an inspirational image prepared to guide them.
– Lipstick will not last all day & night. Pack a touch up lipstick or gloss for reapplication.
– Pluck / maintain eyebrows before the wedding day
– Don’t forget to shave any areas that you want to be smooth/clean

Ladies

1. Getting ready outfits: Sarah will provide pajama sets!
2. Wedding day outfit including appropriate bras/Spanx/undergarments and accessories
3. Shoes: Black opened toed heels
4. Clutch/purse with personal items/IDs, phone, lipstick, makeup for touch ups, tissues, etc.
5. No preference on jewelry and nails
6. Wedding card (if applicable)
7. Speeches: Printed speech for dinner (ideally not read off of your phone)

Gents

1. Wedding day outfit: shoes, socks, pants, belt, button down, bowtie, jacket
2. Cell phones, wallets, keys, and anything else you may keep in your pocket
3. Wedding card (if applicable)
