TIMELINE OF EVENTS

Friday, May 16th

10:00am	Check in available at the Pendry hotel
2:15pm	Groomsmen take V&K’s personal decor to the lobby to load into wedding planners car (Jenna)
3:00pm	Rehearsal at The Pendry Hotel | Gallery 4&5 on the 2nd floor
3:30pm	Midwest Transit 38 Pax Shuttle arrives at The Pendry for pick up (for wedding party + parents) Wedding party & parents board shuttle & head to RPM events for drop off
4:00pm	Shuttle arrives at Palmer House (Wabash street for pick up) for guests to board & heads to The Pendry
4:15pm	Shuttle arrives at The Pendry for guests to board & all guests get dropped off at RPM Events
4:30-8pm	Rehearsal dinner at RPM Events Shuttle is on-site for transportation to CAA
7:30pm	Shuttle from RPM to The Pendry (for drop off if needed) then The Game Room at Chicago Athletic Association
8:00pm	Welcome party at The Game Room (within Chicago Athletic Association) Shuttle from RPM to The Pendry, then to The Game Room at Chicago Athletic Association
10:30pm	Welcome party ends

Rehearsal Day Responsibilities

Prior to RPM Dinner: Brett along with my Varsha’s dad will be on bridesmaid gift duty! – i.e. we’ll need you to bring the 6 bridesmaid gift bags with him on the rehearsal dinner bus from Pendry to RPM Events
Post RPM Dinner: Brett + 2 groomsmen to help box up some of the rehearsal dinner flower arrangements and then transport them in the rehearsal dinner bus to The Pendry. Nycole at Pendry (event POC) confirmed that the front desk/doormen will have access to a cart that they can use to take the flowers upstairs to the Carbide suite. After this drop off, you can walk to CAA afterwards!
Welcome Event: We’ll need one bridesmaid or groomsmen coming back to Pendry to take the displayed “Welcome Sign” with them

Saturday, May 17th

7:00am	All ladies getting hair & makeup done arrive at Pendry Carbide Suite Hair stylist & Makeup artist arrives for setup **see schedule below Varsha lays out any unphotographed accessories for photographer on counter
7:15am	Hair & Makeup services begin
8:00am	Breakfast delivered from Goddess & The Baker for the ladies
8:50am	Brett (Best Man) goes up to Carbide to exchange gifts with Katie (MOH)
9:00am	Groomsmen arrive at The Pendry to relax and hang out with Kieran
10:00am	ALL hair and makeup completed Varsha & bridesmaids take a photo in their getting ready outfits Sithara (Saree person) arrives to help dress all ladies
10-10:30am	Pooja, Atul & Jay are responsible with taking all signage (and misc decor) to Chicago Cultural Center | pull up to Randolph/Garland corner for ramp access to building –> seating chart to the Rotunda –> all misc decor to room 308 on the third floor
10:20am	Varsha, bridesmaids & moms put on their outfits separately Saree lady will help with pinning dupattas and tying lehenga skirts for all 6 bridesmaids
10:30am	Lunch delivered from Goddess & The Baker for the bridesmaids and groomsmen
11:00am	Personal Floral (bouquets/bouts) delivered to The Pendry Carbide Suite
11:15am	Vasu arrives to Bridal suite (Carbide Suite) Saree lady to help Vasu drape her saree
11:30am	Vasu & Varsha take getting ready photos Trolley arrives at The Pendry
11:50am	Varsha’s first look with dad in the suite Kieran & Photo 2 (Nohemi) Uber to first look location Wedding party heads to the lobby and boards the trolley
12:00pm	Varsha & any ladies in the room board the trolley Brett and/or Sam is in charge of the foam cooler with alcohol, water, snacks & ice  Kristen, Megan, Daisy, & Emma are done with hair and makeup services Lunch delivered from Goddess & The Baker for the families & saree draping lady
12:15pm	Varsha & Kieran’s first look
1:00pm	Kristen, Megan, Daisy, & Emma put on their wedding outfits in their own room(s) and go back to Bridal suite to have saree draping lady help pin dupattas or ensure outfits are all set
1:15pm	Trolley departs first look location & heads to Lyric Opera of Chicago
1:30pm	Wedding party photos begin at Lyric Opera
2:20pm	Wedding party photos are completed Everyone reboards the trolley and head to CCC Family departs Pendry and heads to CCC with saree draping lady (Utilizing Pendry Black Car Service for this) Vish to bring mangalsutra & any additional pooja items Vish/Keith to bring Vish, Keith, & Kieran’s suits & reception outfit bags Vish/Keith to bring Varsha’s saree outfit bag & end of night outfit bag
2:35pm	Trolley arrives on-site at CCC  wedding party drops all personal belongings in respected rooms (4th floor ladies, 308 guys) Refresh prior to family photos!
3:00pm	Family pictures begin in G.A.R. in front of center doors
3:20pm	ALL family photos completed Atul, Pooja, & Nikhil arrive to CCC and should be in Preston Bradley Hall for Mini Rehearsal All immediate family & wedding party head to PBH for Mini Rehearsal ran by Ohana Varsha changes from Lehenga into Saree (Sithara on-site to help!!) in 4th floor room Varsha gets her makeup touched up by BBB in bridal room in 4th floor room
3:30pm	Ohana runs mini rehearsal Trolley arrives at Palmer House for guest pick up
3:45pm	Trolley departs Palmer House for final drop off at Chicago Cultural Center
4:00pm	Guests begin arriving to Chicago Cultural Center (Washington St Entrance)  Ushers (Atul Nayak & Nikhil Baliga) go to ceremony site Best man has given the priest the wedding rings
4:30pm	Ceremony begins in Preston Bradley Hall
5:45pm	Cocktail hour begins in G.A.R. Rotunda
5:50pm	Immediately following end of ceremony pictures begin at the front of ceremony  1. Varsha, Kieran with entire Baliga – Nayak Family  2. Varsha, Kieran with both sets of parents 3. Varsha, Kieran with BOTH full immediate families
7:15pm	Cocktail hour ends and guests are invited back into Preston Bradley Hall
7:35pm	Varsha & Kieran are introduced into the room!
7:40pm	Immediately after intros, V&K have their first dance
7:45pm	Welcome and toast by Parents of the bride
7:50pm	Dinner service begins
8:05pm	Once first course is plated, Parents of the groom are invited up to speak
8:45pm	After all entrees are served, additional speeches begin: 1. Katie 2. Brett
9:15pm	Dance party!!
12:00am	Party’s over!! 🙁 Kieran’s Parents are in charge of getting cards/gifts to the hotel + any leftover personal items

HAIR & MAKEUP SCHEDULE

BEAUTY POINTERS

– Hair is best styled with clean (washed day/night before; shampoo 2x and apply condition to your ends only), product-free or limited product in hair.
– IF applying serum/oils, avoid applying to the scalp area
– Hair should be completely dry (BLOW DRY, not air dry, and avoid sleeping with damp hair)
– Part your hair where you think you’d most likely want to style it for the wedding day
– Leave hair down to avoid creases or flatness from a hair band
– Do not apply SPF moisturizers to your skin. You may still moisturize with a non SPF product. SPF causes makeup to fall off quicker.
– Brush your teeth and put in your contacts prior to beginning your beauty.
– Lipstick will not last all day & night. Pack a touch up lipstick or gloss for reapplication.
– Pluck / maintain eyebrows before the wedding day

DON’T FORGET TO BRING…

Ladies

Getting Ready Outfit: Varsha will be providing getting ready outfits on Friday, for Saturday so please plan to wear those in the morning!
Wedding day outfit: including your dress and appropriate bras/Spanx/undergarments
Jewelry: Varsha will be gifting some jewelry pieces. In addition (or in place of) what is being gifted, feel free to bring whatever rings, or jewelry you’d be comfortable wearing
Shoes: Neutral block heels
Nail Polish: Neutral nail polish on, if possible, or clean cut nails 
Clutch/purse: with personal items/IDs, phone, lipstick, tissues, etc.
Wedding speech: Katie — Don’t forget your speech (ideally not read off of your phone)
Dressing Duties: Katie (MOH) and either Noelle or Deepthi to help Varsha get dressed into her lehenga again post ceremony & then again into her late night outfit

Gents

Gentlemen’s wedding day outfit: brown shoes, neutral undergarments, white kurtha pants, under shirt (if applicable), kurtha top & kurtha vest (Kieran will be providing socks!)
Bag: Something for your personal belongings since you don’t have pockets! Cell phones, wallets and anything else you may typically keep in your pocket
Getting Ready Outfit: Arrive in something comfortable
Wedding Speech: Brett — Don’t forget your speech (ideally not read off of your phone)
Gift Swap: Brett to come up to the Carbide suite to swap gifts with Katie (MOH) for Varsha and Kieran (around 8:50am)
