Stick to these helpful tips for the ultimate wedding day glow!
-Drink 5 bottles of water every day (as soon as you can start)
-Manage your time to get enough sleep in the months leading up
-Stick to healthy eating habits
-Avoid salty/sugary foods and carbohydrates
-Make sure to moisturize skin – don’t forget about your hands and feet!
-Avoid testing new products, could cause an unwanted reaction
-Don’t forget to take care of your lips – lip balm and Vaseline are suggested
-Consider threading instead of plucking eye brows
-Avoid alcohol one month out – assists in de-bloating
-Consider teeth whitening 3 weeks out
-Hair cut and/or color 2 weeks prior to big day
-Schedule teeth cleaning about 2 weeks out
-Get your nails done in a neutral tone – keep the focus on that dress!
-Don’t forget about those toes! Pedicures are a must
-Spray tan at least 2 days prior
-Consider a depuffing facial 2 days out
-Exfoliate face the night before wedding day
-Make sure all unwanted hair is removed – includes pits, legs, and eyebrows
-Eat a high protein breakfast and light lunch
-If you typically have oily hair, wash & condition hair on the morning of & make sure it is fully dry
– If you typically have dry hair, wash & condition hair the night before
-Don’t forget to bring any head pieces or accessories so your hair stylist can apply them AND tell a friend how to remove it later in the evening
-Wear a loose or zipper button up shirt so when your hair is complete, you don’t have to take off a shirt and mess it up
-Come with a clean face (exfoliate night prior)
-Have a day old dirty hair for best results
-Pack a day-of beauty kit for emergency touch ups
-Bring your favorite lip stick so you can reapply throughout the day
-Pack oil wipes in case it’s a hot summer wedding and you need some last minute pat downs
-Get plenty of sleep to avoid the tired-look
-Make sure your eyebrows are well groomed
-Keep finger nails clipped and tidy, or spoil yourself with a manicure!
-Whiten teeth for a flashy smile
-Practice a regular skincare routine – including exfoliation
-Get a haircut at least 1-2 weeks before the big day, with an additional touch up a few days before
-Don’t forget to keep that facial hair tidy!
– Moisturize head to toe the weeks leading up to your wedding
-Give yourself enough time, do NOT wait till the last second for anything
-Pack an emergency bag with “extras” – accidents happen, be prepared
