When you get asked to plan an event revolving around food, you know you’ve hit the jackpot. Well, maybe that’s just how I feel because I swear my entire life revolves around food. How could it not be an experience exploring restaurants around the city, putting together a great party, tasting some of the most delicious treats, and learning more about what Chicago has to offer in the culinary side!

Every year, the Greater River North Business Association puts on an event called OctoberFeast. In the past, it’s been a walking tour where attendees walk from restaurant to restaurant, trying samples at each. This year, they brought me on board to completely change the dynamic of the event.

Our team, partnered with the GRNBA, brought together 20 restaurants into one venue (City Hall) for a 3 hour tasting event with open bar, live music by Yazz Jazz Entertainment, live chef demonstrations by three restaurants, and a silent auction with a portion of the proceeds going to Clean Streets.

Keep an eye out for OctoberFeast 2020, but in the meantime take a look at some of this year’s event!
